Tambo was the hero for me tonight.......

For me it was all about the last 10 mins or so, i loved Tamwar just running in there for Afia, no hesistations and nothing - he had to go.... and also liked Yusef instantly going inside for his daughter and so on, and that final content smile to know his daughter is outside, thats all he wanted was his daughter ok and safe

I always said Mas and Tamwar are both so similar in a way - Tambo is like his dad, once he says something in his strict kind of voice and something that is right, they stick by it and also how can we forget both men going into the fire to save the woman they love

Tambo is a hero for me, like i said no hesitations - see the difference between Zee asking Syed to go and get Mas and Tambo just running in and so on, will be interested to see how things develop with Tambo now after this fire and also Tambo/Afia, Afia loves both the men in her life - Tam and her dad, it will be a hard time for her, dealing with her dad's death and Tambo in this state

Cant wait for the aftermath journey of this devastation for the Masoods

The last scene was kinda a surprise, coz i just watched it again and you see the terror and shaking in his eyes and body and then the agony and the screams of Zee

He has been one of my faves since the start

I also liked his Tambo-ish reaction to finally Afia telling him about the fire, i loved that he said, she didnt tell him the truth, and that actual truth mattered and quickly he acted to get to his mum and so on

He's always been one of my favourites, right from the start. The lovely, awkward, witty, funny heroic legend

I stopped watching EE around 2008(ish), but i've just realised why they scoop all the awards over Corrie and Emmerdale despite having continually lower viewing figures and generally poorer episodes (In my opinion).

Its because they absolutely obliterate Christmas, every year we see something different yet equally brilliant, i've always been Corrie over EE but tonight i hold my hands up and admit, that was spectacular, i always watch at Christmas and that is what sticks in the mind when voting in these various awards.

I am thinking Tam has most deep burnt scars on his back, and maybe his left arm and then little scars they can cover up with plastic surgery near his forehead and so on

Tamwar has been great for a while, I remember thinking he was the weak link in the family when they first joined but the past couple of years he's kinda held them altogether.

Even though he was angry at Afia for lying to him about his mum and Yusef he still ran in to a burning building for her.

He is a brilliant character...seems like a genuinely decent honourable character. It's good to see him being used more and for something more challenging.

Tambo's lines are great and they its delivered

Tambo's been great, he stands up when it counts and so on, look at him with Syed and now with Afia and so on

I also think Tambo is one of the main person to hold his family together

Tamwar has always been one of my favourites but I would say he has improved alot this year, some of his witty one liners and his general geekyness are brilliant to watch. I'm looking forward to now seeing some more dramatic material as i think Himesh is a very capable actor.

It wil be interesting how this will affect him, not only him but him and Afia and also his family, there is alot still to come from the Masoods now due to this devastation and so on

I hope there is more given to Tambo in the new year coming and so on, he can pull it off

Tamwar works because he's so underplayed and consistent*. And I found the final scene quite chilling. As someone mentioned, I liked the parallels with his father, I loved his line on Christmas Day about "a man who sets fire to people when he doesn't get his own way" or something.

He's a great (and underrated) character who'll hopefully stick around.

*Well apart from when he's being ruined to facilitate stupid storylines like Yusef and Zainab.

Tamwar was the true hero last night for selflessly rushing into the fire with no motive and no thought for himself other than to save his wife who he thought was in there.
