She's going to have a job coming to terms with the fact that tamwar is disfigured because of her. Ok she told yusef Afia was in the B&B because she wanted to get rid of him; it wasn't planned for tamwar to go in there too. How will she cope? breakdown?

Yes, probably. Or this will be yet another burn related secret that is in the family for years.

If she confesses to Masood what she has done I think that will be the end of their relationship. He doesn't know she married Yusef knowing he set her on fire, if all that comes out I can't see how he can ever forgive her.

She's such a pathetic character, serves her right, she thought she was being clever telling him that, but no she wasn't clever at all as she forgot that her son is married to Afia. Z only thinks about herself, and why did she think she'd get one over on Usef? He's dead now, nothing matters to him anymore. She started all of this the moment she married him, knowing he set fire to her. Playing a mindgame with someone who has set fire to you in the past is not clever.

“Z only thinks about herself”

Such a stupid thing to say. When Masood found Kamil you could see the relief in Zainab's face. She couldn't have cared less after that point. So you're wrong there. Also, did you see her screaming and crying her eyes out over Masood in the BnB fire?

Zainab and Kim have slowly become my favourite characters in Eastenders.

One moment of happiness at seeing her kid means she cares about anyone but herself? Please give it up already.
When did she care about Mas in the past really? She's always manipulated everyone around her, so no she deserves all the guilt and more, I bet she doesn't give a fig about how Jane feels either, and Jane is Masoods girlfriend.

When she told him that I cheered and Yusefs face when he saw Afia outside and realised Zainab had finally got one over on him was brilliant.

I don't get why she didn't immediately tell Tamwar she was lying though.

Because Z isn't that clever, I didn't get that he realized anything, to me he seemed relieved his daughter is safe and well and that's all that mattered to him in the end.

Zainab isn't a cruel woman, she's just what we once described as a 'battleaxe' in the past - a mature and tough woman who wants society to have morals, helped along by her religious beliefs. Masood does have the last word on a number of occassions - so it's not as if ZaInab can control him - and she's always wanted what's best for her children as a muslim woman, even if telling her gay son that she wished he was dead was a step too far. (Masood also turned his back on Syed once he was living with Christian, so he wasn't setting a great example there)

And Jane isn't Masood's girlfriend anymore, probably hasn't been since Masood went to rescue Kamil.

Yeah was great, loved the bit where he just smirked, then you got the angled shot from outside where you could see his face in the window, before he went crashing through the floor with the bed and everything crashing down on top of him

I hope she can be sanguine about it but knowing EE she wont be, she'll blame herself and wont be able to let go.

Hopefully Tamwar will be able to help his mum and tell her that she didnt strike the match and she shouldnt feel guilty for wanting to hurt Yusef.

I think that EE's attempt at Z being a dedicated Muslim woman have failed so many times, she just cares about what she wants and it's rare that anyone gets past her, besides Mas is hardly a strong minded man, he's more of flawed than she is, but he's not as selfish as her, I don't see her actions coming from a place of love or belief, those are two things she hides behind and uses as excuses.

Tam will be mad at his wife and his mother and quite rightly so, his wife knew her dad tried to kill his mother, both his mother and his wife kept that from him and his mother lied to keep the upper hand resulting in him running in to save his wife, just like Mas did when Z was on fire.. Z's life has been built on so many lies, she should have known they only make things worse.

I think its understandable that Z wanted to hurt Yusef.

I'm sure you're right that Tam will be angry with her though, he'll blame her for his burns. He could have checked she was definitely in there before madly rushing in.

Goes to show what a sweet guy he is though, he was mad at Afia for lying to him about Yusef but still runs right in to a burning building to rescue her. So I hope he doesnt blame his mum for long.

Disappointed that only Yusef perished in the fire, I was hoping it would wipe out all the Masoods, all the Moons, Denise, Patrick & Kim, Phil & Shirl, & especially Phil's weirdo son Ben.

Does that make me a bad man?

I agree more or less with Screaming Tree. And mark my words once this has all blown down Z will be back to treating Masood like he's something she stepped in.

I think she'll find it very hard to come to terms with the fact that she's responsable for Tamwar's injuries & i agree with the fact that her family should be angry with her for marrying Yusef after all he'd done to her; I wonder whether the full extent of his manipulation of her will come to light? will she realise that he drugged her & made it look like attempted suicide? Will she tell her family? Will she be upset about him dying? will tamwar be able to forgive Afia?

You could tell she felt guilty but it wasn't really focused on her
