I agree. It seemed oddly old-fashioned. If they did the same thing about women there's be hell to pay. Is it just because they have to write this sort of stuff for Bruce do you think? I was also astonished they way he kept mimicking (badly) Chelsee's accent

I've found Bruce's jokes about Chelsee utterly tasteless and insulting. She put up with a lot really unfunny comments about everything from her accent to her supposed taste in alcohol. It's 2011 for heavens sake not the end of pier in Blackpool circa 1962!

Bruce really shows his age and his misogyny. Crass, ignorant old man who clearly thinks women should be simpering, silent and in awe of his 'brilliant career' and devastating charm. *shudders*

Absolutely. Couldn't believe what Bruce got away with in his attitude to Chelsee. And the way he and Tess 'relate' - sort of old man with pretty girl on his arm whom he deserves because he is so wonderful. Awful stuff and not at all funny and I'm surprised the Beeb can't see it.

Oh dear. It must be Brucie's fault as usual Whilst, Bruno, Craig and Russell are laughing all the way to their pay cheque and popularity increases. Oh and Chelsee didnt do too badly either, I mean who was she?

Bruce Forsyth may indeed be annoying but he hasn't yet succumbed to the frenzied campery.

I have no objections to Craig and his 'dahhhling', or to Bruno and his equal opportunity perving. It's their choice and they are in control of their actions. I do object to straight men [or women] using tacky innuendo because they think it's funny. Ooooo, Bruce said nancy, nudge nudge. Just leave it with the rest of your material, back in 1974, Bruce. He'll be calling Tess 'oooh, Matron' next.

From what I can see, they seem to revel in it.”

To be fair to Bruno, he is an equal opportunities salivator, though.

that seems a very random thing to say , do you have anything special against Ola ?

To go back to the comments by the OP this year I have found not only Bruce but Len allowed to get away with comments that really you wouldn't in the workplace

To be honest the leering also wouldn't be allowed either.

At times the comments have got very unpleasant especially towards Craig and I am not sure that the BBc should be promoting this joking about homosexuality as it can and in my opinion did tip over into offensive comments last series.

We have a resident psychiatrist just down the corridor. He could explain to you (tactfully) what most men think of 'modern' women. But you wouldn't like it darling.

The late Kenneth Williams will never be forgotten, which is one good thing about SCD. " Infamy! Infamy ! Theyve all got it infamy !".

Just to be totally politically correct, shouldn't Alesha now 'come out of the closet' and reveal herself to be a lesbian so that she can 'phwoar' over the femal pros and slebs alike..
.';show us your rack' etc etc...

nice.

Blimey, it really is 1974, isn't it??

'Most men' have no issue with modern women. Unless of course they're scared of women.
