Episode spoilers:
It's the morning after the night before and the residents of Albert Square are all still trying to comprehend the events of Christmas night and the damage that's been done.
"Afia's in there!" is still ringing in our minds and no doubt poor Zee will be feeling guilty for Tambo's injuries. Yusef is burning in hell so at least one good thing came out of it. How will Afia cope with her father's death and her husband's injuries?

Meanwhile, Shirley confronts Philth's stalker,Ben,but with all the other commotion happening on the Square, how long will it take her to reveal their identity to Philth or before he is arrested? The poor man has been in 2 fires in less than 18 months. He probably thinks he is in the clear now, Firstly, he saved Denise's life and secondly, you'd assume the USB would have been lost in the fire but it wasn't and Denise still handed to the police!

Elsewhere, Derek convinces Liam to steal scrap metal from the condemned B&B in return for some cash. When Pat finds out what's going on, she sends Liam back to the house. Unhappy over Derek's flirting with Janine, Michael decides to make an alliance with Pat to get rid of Derek.

Later, Derek's parole officer turns up following a tip-off over his latest scheme. Derek protests his innocence and quickly realises that Pat and Michael are responsible for the tip-off. Soon afterwards, Derek enters Pat's house and threatens her, warning her to keep her mouth shut in future. Once he has left, Pat suffers a health scare and collapses.

so looks like Pat gets the duff duffs at the end then ..Poor Pat

Zee did the right thing, revenge is a dish best served cold, a charbroiled tamwar is better than a dead one & yooseff wont be able to harm her boys anymore. As for afia spawn of the devil who cares, she could have stopped this months back.

True and no way would Yusef have been able to just live on the square in peace, he would have came up with new methods on an annual bases to kill her plus he would never have given her a divorce again or let her go. It was either him or her.

Poor Zee, she wanted revenge on Yusef because she thought he had killed Masood, so she told him Afia was in there, it would have worked if Tamwar hadn't followed.

Will Tamwar stay with Afia do you think or is she leaving?

Yes - and that is where the producers went wrong. Why did they have to have as the last shot Tamwar emerging badly burned.

Surely have Tamwar and Massood emerging unscathed and Yusef going down in flames - a happy ending for Christmas. Haven't the Massoods suffered enough!

Just left a very sour taste - when you want a happy ending!

Can't wait for tonight, I hope Zainab, Afia, Tamwar and Pat get lots of screentime. Sort of wish they had some continuation from last night though, I don't like missing a whole night of aftermath. Wonder how Zainab will cope with the guilt.

Agreed, Denise has every right to go to the police. It's true that Phil wasn't directly responsible for Kevin's death, but he's done so many other things too and needs bringing to justice. I'm sure he'll get away with it in the end though. :yawn::yawn:

I feel sorry for Zainab, but she kinda deserved it, cause she didn't listen to Masood when Yuesf came. She was being really silly actually cause she shouldn't of married him after he was being mean to her.Honestly, she shouln't of let Tamwar go inside, and if she didn't make up that lie, he woudln't of gone inside.. I was about to cry, cause he was literally screaming cause he had fire on his back. Some one should've stoppped him, but they didn't they just tried to get him and gave up on him, no one tried to save him. Syed, didn't even help, what type of brother does that? Though I am glad Yuesf died x

i watched the omnibus today,,,,i haven't laughed so much in ages at the fire,,,,,badly acted,,,,the two of them were wondering about in a burning house and didnt seem affected by the smoke or heat,,,,,,,one looking for an exit and the other looking for somoeone not in there,,,,,,,,terrible soap,,, although it was hilarioous even if it wasnt supposed to be

Looking forward to this episode. Last full week of Pat, so sad.
