I agree. I doubt she'll regress, and I hope she doesn't. The Fame has a lot of filler, and while BTW isn't perfect it's a damn sight better. She's still developing, and I think it would be silly to go back making songs like Love Game and Money Honey now. I don't think many people would be impressed, contrary to what the label chooses to believe.

That's only in the US, and Billboard's year-end counts November to November, which isn't 2011 as a calender year.

Worldwide, Born This Way is the second biggest album of 2011.

If it's true, then I agree with the label. The material on The Fame/The Fame Monster was far superior to that of the tracks on Born This Way overall and also targeted a wider audience. I hope she does go back to what she does best - mainstream pop/dance.

Ugh, please no. The Fame was pretty poor in itself, but dreadful in comparison to Born This Way.

He has according to buzzjack. The official sales are released tomorrow but his Christmas album has managed to sell 6 million in 2 and a half months. Lady Gaga has sold 5 million of BTW. Adele is on 13 miliion for 21!

Maybe the sales figures I saw were out of date a few weeks. I guess Lady Gaga would've been 2nd until the Christmas season anyway.

Oh God, here we go again. You keep saying that and I will keep correcting you - it's SOLD 5.3 million. If it's SHIPPED 8 million (still don't believe this figure and Gaga is about as believable as wikipedia when it comes to her 'sales' figures) it's massively over shipped (even more than Subo).

to be honest, i am not a gaga fan, but if i had to choose i'd say her the fame is her only decent album
