I'm like Giles from Buffy in that I like my books to come in actual book form. So no, I'll not be buying it.

I went with the Nexus and I love it. I'd have been first in the queue for the Fire HD if I hadn't! The paperwhite may tempt me. I still like e ink for reading it's so battery efficient and great for reading outside. It's finding a way of acquiring one in the UK!

I nearly went for a Nexus but eventually decided against it, mainly because of low storage capabilities when not in range of wifi.
I think that I'm going to go for a 32GB Kindle Fire. I sort of feel more connected to Amazon than Google or Apple. I already have a subscription to Lovefilm & Audible, I own a Kindle with loads of books, and buy music (and most of my shopping actually!) from Amazon. It seems right for me and also good value. I've fallen into their trap haven't I? |

I'm not sure its a case of falling into traps.
Sounds like a Fire would be right for you, same as a Nexus would be right for me as I'm embedded in a lot of Google services. You can still mix n match though and get google services on the Fire (with a bit of playing around) and vice versa. |
