I guess we will never know whether Yusuf tracked down Zainab after his wife died in order to extract his revenge plan or whether through a series of unbelievable coincidences he ends up being GP on the square and Afia meets and falls in love with Tamwar by chance. What are the chances of that happening? Did he even have a plan when he realized who Tamwar's mother was or did he make it up on the spot? And what of Afia's mother and the truth about that marriage and her death? Lazy writing will allow those answers to die with Yusuf.

Yusef didn't plan it. It was coincidence that Zainab's son fell in love with her ex husband's daughter. He suspected when Tamwar told him his mother's namebut said nothing at first because he was unsure. Then he wanted her back and wanted revenge on Masood. I did see some attraction between Zainab and Yusef before they got together properly so i think that he must have had feelings for her but those feelings were very twisted whereas his love for his daughter Afia was pure and selfless.

Well Yusef got his way in the end and that was to break up the family. Luckily, they will be getting back together and he's now dead. That's all that matters isn't it.

Well then when Yusuf crossed paths with Zainab again after all those years he must have thought his ship came in again. I know characters are just like chess pieces and they are placed where the writers put them but even that is a stretch.

what his ships coming in at once so he'd get second chance to burn her alive? There are unfortunately nutters out there like this in the real world who can't leave the past where it is.

Well Zainab and Masood may not last for long when Masood finds out that Zainab was to blame for Yusef's death and Tamwar's serious burns because she said "Afia's inside". I think the Masoods will turn against Zainab when they find out what she did.

Once again I am saying from Yusuf's point of view. I am not talking about the real world, this is a soap forum and half the characters seem to have a score to settle from the past it seems.

Why did he just stand there with a look on his face when he realised Afia was standing outside and not in the building. Was it because he realised he was going to die anyway? That bit was really sad.

Well he probably wanted to die because even if he managed to make it out of the house alivve, he would go to prison for trying to kill Masood so he had very few options. I agree it was really sad though.

I quite like the idea that Afia and Tanwar met and fell in love on their own terms. Is it really that implausible anyway, after all they both live in London and mix in similar circles?

Either way, even as a dramatic story line it's quite a good one. You could almost imagine it as a premise of a film or drama on TV.

to be honest most of the storyline with Yusef didn't make any sense to me..I don't understand what he actually wanted in the end?..or why?...Zainab marrying him in the first place was one of the most unrealistic things ever

I think he realised that Zainab had tricked him, and ultimately had won.

I thought it was clear in the end that he didn't love Zainab and that he wanted revenge on Masood for thwarting his original plan to kill her. I don't think he set out to find her but when he did he couldn't bear to see her happy with Masood and her family. In the end he wanted control of the whole family and for Masood to be alone. When he realized that he would never be free of Masood as he would never give up on Kamil he decided to kill him.
Of course he was a little crazy .

Why should Masood care? Her actions caused Yusef's death - the evil man who Masood despised and had just tried to murder him. Yusef was gloating and she said it in the heat of the moment she didnt expect Tamwar to go running it, it was hardly her fault he got hurt she loves her son. I think it would be quite pathetic of Masood to kick off over it considering the circumstances.
