IMO it was the best moment of 2011. Even surpassing 'bubbly in the fridge'

I can't see it as being legendary. I just wish Afia had been inside which would make the question null and void.

I don't really see what's so legendary about it. I'd already forgotten Zainab had said it until I read this

Vanessa, after she went to the flat where Max and Tanya were meeting.

I don't think "Afia's inside" remotely compares.

"bubbly in the fridge" cannot be topped. ever since Vanessa uttered those words we now have a cheap bottle of bubbly in our fridge so we can also say those words from time to time

Has the word "legendary" changed its meaning? No? Then no!

I think it'll be memorable - the line stood out from the rest of the episode because everything had been building momentum and suddenly there was a moment of silence; of stillness while Zainab was in Yusef's grip. And then she (maybe inadvertently) sent him to his death.

God, the word 'legendary' is thrown about far too much these days. Do people know what it actually means?

Anyway, as far as 'classic' lines, delivered with consummate skill by nuanced and eloquent thespians go, one would be hard-pressed to find dialogue so poetically written and packed with dramatic punch as Charlie Jones' haunting, 'What are you gonna dooo to me? MR JOHNSON!?'

Maybe he means that 'legendary' means mythical, like King Arthur or the Loch Ness Monster. A 'legend' is a well-known story or tale (usually historical) which is of dubious veracity but is nevertheless 'believable'.

I'm not sure quite why this word has been usurped by people to refer to soap characters, sportsmen, TV presenters or anything else.

If Harry Hill was still on, he'd have done a sketch with people shouting 'Afia's Inside!' and different random people would keep running into the burning house for no apparent reason.
