Anyone shocked that Britney's remix of S&M is in the top 10 singles!

There's at least another 1m to add to Adele's figure. IIRC mediatraffic are actually publishing the 'proper' YEC tomorrow.

Really?

I wonder if Michael Buble will overtake Gaga then? amazing to think he has sold that much in just two months!

Yes, the info is here:

PS It could be close between Gaga and Buble but I think Gaga will hold on. Both Buble and Adele are expected to have shifted approaching 1 million albums this last week

Adele rules the world. Who would have thought it? I love it.
I do hope Rebecca Ferguson follows in her footsteps.

That chart isn't solely single sales is it? I thought that it includes radio airplay as well because it's done as a points system instead of copies sold?

The sales of the Britney remix would've been combined with the original. I don't think the Britney remix would've sold even a million, because it only sold significant amounts for like 2 weeks.

Yeah, likely it's S&M''s sales are mainly it';s original combined with the remix
The remix with Britney made little impact and stayed for about two weeks or so

Thought Someone Like You would be higher, given its sales in the Uk and US

Everyone keeps saying how Katy Perry has had such poor album sales this year, and yet she's the 9th best selling

They must still be working on the album chart but the singles chart has been updated:

They've now released the YE album chart

Adele - 21
XL Recordings - 15,3 million copies
Lady GaGa - Born This Way
Interscope - 5,4 million copies
Michael Bublé - Christmas
Reprise - 5,2 million copies
Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops & Hooligans
Elektra / Warner Bros. - 4,0 million copies
Rihanna - Loud
Def Jam - 3,4 million copies
Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto
Parlophone / Capitol - 3,3 million copies
Adele - 19
XL Recordings - 2,8 million copies
Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More
Island - 2,2 million copies
Katy Perry - Teenage Dream
Capitol - 2,1 million copies
Beyoncé - 4
Columbia - 2,1 million copies

'21' is 9.9 million ahead of the album in 2nd place and has actually sold more than the combined total of the albums in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. Madness.
