Pat's Theme?


I know it's only 4 more days until her final episode, But I'm still hoping that A special arrangement of the theme tune is made for Pat's Exit.

Unless it's being saved for her funeral.

But then again, Unless it's a brilliant kept secret, surely this would have been announced by now.

I'm guessing (and hoping) they'll play 'Julia's Theme' as they usually do on major occasions. (Last time I remember was Stacey's exit)

I know when Peggy was leaving they did a special theme for her and said that they were doing it but nothing on Pat. It would be a shame if they didn't. Her funeral is on a Friday so maybe they will do a special theme for that.

I think they'll either do :

Julia's Theme (I hope it would be something other than that)
Peggy's Theme (It was only supposed to be for Peggy's exit but Ronnie also got it aswell)
Or a very special Pat's Theme (I would rather the BBC do Pat's Theme rather than the other two)

But it will more than likely be Julia's Theme even though Pat's Theme would be a nice touch though

Its been used a few times since then, like when Charlie got on the train, Alfie and Kat got Tommy back, Jane left, when Jim left in an ambulance and last time it played was when Ronnie went to jail. I want a Pat's theme.She deserves one more than Peggy when she got her's.

Wow, I didn't realise Julia's Theme had been used so often.

In that case, they should definitely have a special one-off Pat's theme just for her, that never gets used again. We shall see.

I agree that if Peggy got one then Pat is more than deserving after 25 years in the show. However, I don't think she's getting one as it would have been announced by now. I think her death or funeral episode will end with a Julia's Theme though.

I would like to have no theme at all, just the credits rolling in silence. Then in the end we will hear Frank's voice, greeting her. They must have a recording like that somewhere!

I would also like to still see Pat, or the family, during the credits, instead of the birds eye view. Or pan out, like they did with Bradley, but since I suppose she won't be in the Square somewhere when she goes, that might be a problem. Maybe a shot from the window looking up at the stars, maybe ending with Pat's face seen up there somewhere by Janine.

Hopefully so.

I hope so but I doubt it.
