Theres been alot of fires around soaps over the past couple of years especially, so im just wondering which one you all rate the most in terms of impact, characters etc.

I would personally say Hollyoaks- Dog in the pond fire was the best.

The way the episode was directed, the 5 bodybags at the start, just gives me the shivers..and the fact they had the bravery to kill so many characters!

Also Little Mo and Trevor at the slater house was great aswell!

EastEnders and Coronation Street are great at fires, but the best ones would have to be those in Emmerdale. Fire at the farm in 1977, Caravan fire in 1982, Crossgill Fire in 1988, Home Farm fire 1996, the village fire in 2011 and all the others.....

I thought Corrie's Rovers fire in 1986 was very well done too....

HAS to be the Fire at The Dog in 2006 on Hollyoaks. such an amazing, emotional episode which was 'cultivating' the whole way through. kept you guessing and was really clever, and it looked realistic

Another vote for the Dog in the Pond Hollyoaks fire. One word - Amazing!

Has to the the dog fire in HO. Brilliant.
