I like the new nurse Fletch, I thought he looked familiar, I forgot about him in The Bill, he was great in that show too.

Dont know if this has been posted yet but Ive just found the Casualty interview with the producer Nikki Wilson. Quite good, she doesnt give that much away, keeps saying watch the finale, so therefore it should be a good finale

Really enjoyed last nights episode, I'm loving Fletch already! Also, I loved all the Zoe moments and the Sam/Dylan scenes

Disappointed that she said Zoe and Nick won't be romantically linked again but sort of expected that anyway, I'll be looking forward to their 'close collegue friendship'

Know this is off topic or the interview but wouldn't Ruth have had the baby by now?

I was watching Casualty on watch today and Linda was in it and she was pregnant and we should have asked what happened to her baby. In the interview it said Linda has a surprise visitor next series so it could be the baby and the dad :S As everyone else has said Im glad Zoe will be getting a bigger storyline soon, I can maybe see her getting Clinical Lead

There was a missed opportunity there to have Linda confess something terrible about the baby to Lenny, maybe the dad didn't want to know and she had an abortion would of been a massive contrast to her fostering her sisters kids.

I agree. Disappointed with the episode. It seemed as if very little happened - I see that Casualty has moved towards more patient-oriented storylines but I think we need to know more about the patients and their backstory to care about them, and right now, that's not really happening. Still, we've got the Holby Riots which I'm sure will be fantastic.

I don't think Zoe becoming Clinical Lead will actually change her character that much, she's already 'deputy' Clinical Lead isn't she? And Nick doesn't seem to have been around much recently so I think Clinical Lead is already a role shes quite familiar with and she was Clinical Lead when she first joined the show so I'd be disappointed if that was a storyline tbh!
Really looking forward to the last 3 episodes of this series, they all look brilliant!

Hi I'm new here, I love casualty but have no one to discuss it with, hence me joining here (I think I'm of the age where it's not overly cool to watch it, but I have watched pretty much every series since I was a kid and I'm not about to stop now!)
Enjoyed series 26 so far, can't wait for the final three episodes, they sound brilliant. My favourite (current) characters are - Dylan- feeling so bad for him with the whole Sam thing at the moment, they should show more of him with Dervla though-too cute! -Sam- im in the 'glad Sam's staying' fan club! wish she'd just get back together with Dylan already, but looks like her and Tom may get together given that they suddenly have scenes together and apparent chemistry! -Zoe- she's just fab, even when not involved in a big storyline she has great screen presence. -Lenny - ok so he's not a current character anymore- why did he have to leave tho!? I loved the way his mouth always got him into trouble! Anyway that's my hello! Hope to be able to join in some discussions soon! Kate Last edited by Kate1985 : 11-07-2012 at 15:07. Reason: Just realised there's 3 episodes left for S26, not 2-Yey! |

![]() You have similar taste in characters to me - I like Dylan too, for me he's the best character in the show at the moment. I really liked Sam initially, haven't really enjoyed the angst of her relationship with Dylan though. Zoe is a good one too - I do prefer the female characters that have a backbone! I really liked Lenny too - hope that Steven Miller turns up in something good on TV soon. I can picture him in a detective role. My other favourite in Nick, though we don't see much of him these days and are soon to see nothing of him at all for a while! |

I really liked Fletch, breath of fresh air. Reminded me a little of Jay, cheeky, flirty, good heart, etc.
Nice to see a character with a bit of light heart instead of constant angst. |
