Years ago I was one of those who rooted for Kat and Alfie instead of Kat and Mo.I reckoned Kat had found her prince in Alfie and wasn't it so romantic that once she's found her man,she wouldn't need to whore herself anymore. After all, she's been looking for her prince all along, she's only been looking in the wrong places.

How wrong was I,Years later she appeared with a doting, lovestruck Alfie alongside her only to find that she seemed to despise him as she screamed constantly at him.She appeared pregnant but with another man's child, his cousin's.Alfie forgave but she continued to despise him.He assured her repeatedly he loves her and did all he could to prove it.But she remained a spoilt brat woman throwing tantrums and remaining nasty to him during and after the baby snatch. Her latest behaviour has made made so angry. She recently had a nasty one night stand in a dark slovenly alleyway where she carried on with a man like two dogs in heat. That was bad enough but she she still could have chosen to end that but I was flabbergasted that even when Alfie chose to forgive her and love her,she said she would do it again and again even though she could see how much it would hurt him.

In retrospect,I hope Alfie now realises that while he thought he found his princess,he is not hers. You don't treat your prince like that like a piece of scum that you can pick and throw away at will.I have a friend who was a prostitute far worse than Kat but somehow she found a man or he found her and he loved her despite everything. She fell in love with him too.He was a pastor(Just so you know,he never slept with her while she was a prostitute or before they were married but he was a great friend to her who tried to show her just how much her worth was). She gave her heart to Jesus. She realised she had found her prince in him.You will not now believe my friend is the same person. Her man places her on a pedestal, she is his queen. He doesn't care what her past was.In return, she places him on a pedestal for all to see and she proudly shows him her love and devotion for all to see.Just thought I'll vent a bit.I thought I understood kat but I don't.I just really despise what her character stands for.Women don't have to be like that.

I'd love to see Alfie with Denise. I'm not sure why, but I think it'd be good. It'd be better if Patrick and Kim moved into the Vic with Denise and Alfie: that would be comedy gold.

I think Kat and Alfie over Mo and Alfie was the right thing, they were always better suited, and I still think they are.

It seems to me that the storywriters are struggling with Kat & Alfie this time round, and the best they can come up with is affairs/marriage problems. At the moment (due to current stories) I think they would be better apart. I dont think it helped that as Kat returned the Slaters left, I know Mo's still there but, she's not much more than an extra these days, and Jean is a bit of a hit/miss character since Stacey left. That said, I do enjoy the relationship between Kat and Jean.

I thought we were getting some hints to a Jack/Denise romance but I doubt it which would be a shame with Derek and his issues.

YES! YES! YES!!! I'd love this. Alfie and Denise would make an awesome couple. She even mentioned how she'd love to have a guy like Alfie to Kat and that Kat is lucky to have him.

But if Kat and Alfie are better suited why are they struggling so much and the things they argue about are ridiculous to say the least.I mean How can Kat still think Alfie doesn't love her.It makes no sense.

I think she would actually.I don't condone divorce but Kat is no wife to Alfie.Denise should have been Alf's love interest from the start.I wonder if denise was in the square then before he married Kat?

that wud truly cement Jack's reputation of trying to sleep with women from the same family, although this time he would be going for the mother and the daughter rather than sister and sister/cousin. He has already slept with chelsea and she had a pregnancy scare whilst with him

The more I think about it, I do think she would work as the landlady of the pub. Even if she wasn't with Alfie and she was at the helm I think it would work. It would certainly give Diane Parish a bit more to do, and deservedly so!

Alfie arrived in Eastenders long before Denise, I think Alfie came along in 2002? Denise was 2006, although it feels longer.

EDIT: Sorry, somebody already said, I took too long posting!

I think Alfie and Denise would make an excellent couple, she would provide the stability and common sense that he needs and he would supply the fun that is often missing from Denise's life. the slater women seem to be incapable of sustaining a marriage or relationship, they have all been unfaithful to the partner they are with at the time and seem to be perpetual 'victims' with the exception of Belinda, although do we know for sure that her husband even exists??

The problem with Kat and Alfie is that they were brought back. They were the show's big love story and their journey ended when they both left on Christmas Day 2005. It was a fairytale ending and that's how it should have remained.

The issue is that in a happy, stable relationship your potential for stories (as far as EastEnders is concerned) is fairly limited.

Kat has cheated on Alfie four times; it's a boring storyline. I'd much sooner see them happy (and Tommy be Alfie's son) than constantly go through the same motions.

When has Little Mo been unfaithfull?
Her relationship with Alfie was wrong, one does not date her sisters ex, especially not when ones sister is clearly not over him yet. They knew that, or they would have gone public way sooner. They were together for some time while Alfie was also seeing Kat, but neither of them knew that, so that wasn't Mo's fault.

I liked Little Mo and Alfie together and I wish they had stayed together but now that Little Mo is no longer around, I agree with those who say Alfie and Denise might be good together.

you are right, I was thinking she was still with trevor when she started a relationship with Billy, but actually I think she and Billy were just friends at that point

The thing I don't know is does she want to be married or excuse my language to just be a 'whore'.She can't have both as clearly that's not what alfie wants.Who would want that anyway. She needs to sort out herself ASAP.She's so spoilt it's unbelievable.

Yes they should have left well alone and not brought them back at all.I don't see what they've done that couldn't have been done better anyway by another couple.Zainab has easily outshone them for example.I loved it when they left at Christmas years ago.I thought what a fairytale ending. It's all been spoilt since they've been back.Theirs is certainly not a fairytale marriage at all.
