I would have done a poll but I've no idea how to set one up.
By all means of a poll if any mods are looking . Thanks

I reckon that these 4 female singers are the best around and just wondered how you guys would rate their VOICES , not their sex appeal, faces , bodies ..... just their voices
Although granted they would also make good polls !!

By all means feel free to add someone to my top 4 along its not Jessie Fricken J !!!

I'm talking about singing LIVE incidentally ... So no Britney or similar , ether !!!

In no particular order :-

Beyonce
Nicole scherzinger
Rhianna
Lady Ga Ga

CHRISTINA AGUILERA of course!

But out of these 4, I'd say Beyonce.I was torn between her and Nicole and I think Nicole has a slightly wider range, but Beyonce's technique is pretty amazing, so even if her tone and range are nothing to rave about, she's managed to become an admirable vocalist thanks to practice. She can belt effortlessly, she can use her lower register quite well and her head voice is quite smooth.

Nicole is the runner-up for sure! She's great too, it's just that she shouts and yells sometimes instead of belting. When it comes to the other 2 ladies...I'll let their fans judge them

Out of that list, Beyonce is the most consistent and flawless singer.

Nicole is a good singer (better displayed when she does musical tunes) but I'd but Gaga in second. I really like her tone, very smokey and raw.

Rihanna is a weak singer. Distinctive though.

Beyonce is the best live singer, followed by Lady Gaga and Rihanna and Nicole in joint third place.

Jessie J is also very good live

Think Beyoncé is the best singer out of those, she's not my favourite though.

From purely a technical point of view:

Beyoncé
Nicole Scherzinger
Lady GaGa
Rihanna

Beyoncé has an amazing voice and range, really soulful. Nicole has a huge vocal range, she is the only one out of the four capable of Mariah style whistle notes, and her vocals are usually always on point live, Lady GaGa also has a very soulful voice, but her range isn't that big and her voice tends to thin out towards the top end. Also she isn't that consistent when performing live. Rihanna is the weakest singer here (coming from a big fan). While she has a unique tone and style, she is not a consistent live performer and has delivered some very questionable live performances unlike the other 3 who are nearly always great live.

Hilarious poll, the one racehorse and three donkeys statement spring to mind here. Of course it's Beyonce, she is leagues above any of the other three!

Are you referring to Christina?

Well, apart from being featured on the 2nd highest selling single of the year in the UK ('Moves Like Jagger' ), she's ready to return to the music scene with a new single in January

I did see Jessie J and I agree she wasn't very good but I've heard her live elsewhere and she's been great

Jessie J can't even sing her own song as well as Misha B.

Jessie J has a reasonably powerful voice, that she has no idea how to use properly. She's probably the most overrated vocalist from the UK in recent times.

Alexandra Burke is the best current vocalist from the UK. Miles better than Jessie J,and at least as good as Beyonce (if not potentially better. Beyonce was nowhere near as good as Alexandra when she was Alex's age now).

someone talking sense! that whos loving you performance was like WOW. 'why were you not like that on tour my dear'? I hope LP2 brings her the same success as adele sales wise in 2012. shes away from syco and has the americans in the right places helping her. now LA Reid's the chairman of Epic, he can make her a star, he did it for rihanna, so did Jay Z.

I don't think Alex can gain Adele type sales with her second LP, especially if her direction is dance music. The only British female artists who ever really get those sort of "mega-sales" do albums that comprimise primarily of slow songs or ballads. Acts like Duffy, Leona, Adele, Amy Winehouse etc. Even Jessie J, for all her hype and success this year, has come nowhereb close to Adele's album sales, and that's because of her genre of music.

Hopefully, her second album will sell better than the first, but I'll be extremely shocked if it did Adele type sales. The only acts who sell like that that do pop/dance/R&B music tend to be American (Rhianna, Gaga, Katy Perry, Beyonce etc).
