With the new series of Dancing On Ice just around the corner, let's try and predict some of the songs that people will be skating to in the 2012 shows. I think these will be appearing:

Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger
Coldplay - Paradise
Adele - Someone Like You
Jennifer Lopez - On The Floor
Will Young - Jealousy

As you can see, I'm mainly thinking of big hits from the past year, but feel free to guess any older songs as well if you like. No prizes for who gets most right though I'm afraid!

I would agree with Moves Like Jagger and On the Floor. I thought the Adele hit appeared on the last series, but I'm wondering if I'm mixing it up with Make You Feel My Love (very possible for me !).
I'm wondering if something of Lady Gaga's like Edge of Glory or Born this Way will appear.

I know not everyone watches both shows but a number of songs appeared on both SCD then DOI last series. It might be coincidence but some weren't recent chart hits. I guess that watching other tv shows can provide sources of inspiration for music.
Unfortunately I strugggle to remember when bits of music have been used before or on which programme (or whether I've seen them somewhere in real life) but on older bits of music cropping up on SCD, I might also predict River Deep, Mountain High (Tina Turner) and I'm a Believer (The Monkees).

Someone like You was used on the tour this year

Yeah I remember, Hayely & Dan skated to it. I can still see it being used again on the new series though - the same thing happened with 'The Climb' last year I believe.

This was used by Chris & Frankie iirc and sure About You Now has been used before - I think the Olly Murs track is a good bet though

I think it's inevitable that It's Chico time will be used at some point.
