FLOELLA BENJAMIN & POLLY PERKINS TO LEAVE EASTENDERS IN WEDDING NIGHT TRAGEDY...

September 2012

Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) and Ada Fox (Floella Benjamin) are to marry later this autumn but their wedding night ends in tragedy when a drunk Rose Cotton (Polly Perkins) mows down Ada in the square after a row with sister Dot. Rose has been drinking too much after the wedding and after a row with Dot she takes Dot's car and crashes into Ada after Patrick and Ada walk back from the Vic and Ada is killed instantly..the scenes will be shown in November.

Floella Benjamin confirmed she is leaving EastEnders after eight months as Denise and Kim's Mother Ada..

Polly Perkins has been axed as Rose as part of John Yorke's autumn clearout of characters...

Yes shall do that...Floella run in EE was never going to be long, she was brought in as a plot device to bring Patrick and Kim together as Father and Daughter...

Polly as been axed as the EP has found it difficult finding new storylines for the character of Rose..
