hi all, had this tablet bought for me for Christmas but upgraded the firmware and having serious speed and lag issues and most of the games I play on my phone just crash on here, I did read about a root hack that might help, can anyone help me with this? any other tips as its driving me mad.

You do realise that the only modded ROMS that work well are often based on original Archos firmware .
Stuff like CM7 for some devices can be totally useless with 'getting it installed' often the only geek pleasure/shared delusion.

I've gone and exchanged it for the motorola Xoom hoping its a big improvement
