Best Album Out Of This 12....
I have recently splashed a bit of money on 12 cds that have caught my eye recently, but which one out of these do you think is the best? I will also provide my favourite single of each album if you could do that as well that is great (y). So, in my best Dermot O'Leary impression, in no particular order
1) Lykke Li - Wounded Rhymes (I Follow Rivers) 2) Wretch 32 - Black & White (Hush Little Baby) 3) The Naked & Famous - Passive Me, Aggressive You (Punching in a Dream) 4) Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday (Girls Fall Like Dominoes) 5) Mona - Mona (Listen To Your Love) 6) Katy B - On A Mission (Movement) 7) Pendulum - Immersion (The Island Part 1) 8) Count & Sinden - Mega Mega Mega (Addicted To You) 9) Nero - Welcome Reality (Promises) 10) Florence & The Machine - Ceremonials (No Light No Light) 11) Jay Z & Kanye West - Watch The Throne (Lift Off) 12) Cobra Starship - Hot Mess (Hot Mess) If i had to say my favourite three so far, it would be numbers 2,6 and 10

Katy B - On A Mission - it is a very good album, so unique and the variety of sounds on there is really good.
Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday - Also a very good album, nothing like it out, but 'Girls Fall Like Dominoes' is very pop and the rest are more Hip-Hop, love both albums though. |

Florence's is comfortably the best album creatively and lyrically. (although I can't speak for 5 and 8 as I haven't heard them).
Lykke Li's album is the next best I would say. Katy B's is a good album but not necessarily as groundbreaking. Naked and the Famous' album was a but of a disappointment after the quality of some of the early songs they displayed. The Throne is another strong album, although I get a little bored halfway through. Worst album on there is definitely Nikki Minaj - boring, lyrically she's very tedious and I find her voice sooooo annoying. |

nicki is brill. listen to pink friday before judging her persona. as a lyricist she's great. you cant judge her without listening to her work fully and really taking it in. blazin' is lyrical heaven IMO. also lil wayne really wouldnt have signed her rapping off the street for no reason.

I only have Watch The Throne, Pink Friday, On A Mission and Black and White, so my fave out of those is WTT. They're all really good though.

Katy B gets my vote. I adore it. Was one of those albums and she was one of those artists who i wasn't really getting excited about. But more and more singles came out and i checked the album out, and its my no 1 album this year. One of the best debuts from a brit female in a long time.
