I love Brian Friedman. I think he taught and gave them a lot. I've recently rewatched all X-factor performances - all of them were really good except for the last one as there were too many people on stage and it was a mess. somehow I always agree with Simon)))
PS. in the second video Edward gibes at Brian - everywhere the wind blows.....that's Brian Friedman lives))))

Brian used to say stuff about the twins that annoyed me though. I used to get quite upset about some of his remarks. I do think he likes the twins on a personal level though and he gave them great choreography. If I were to critisise the choreography it would have to be that the dance routines he gave the boys were extremely energetic and ambitious and it's much harder to sing and dance than just stand there and sing, so it made the competition harder for the twins than for the ones that just stood and concentrated on their vocal. Some artists on XF don't dance at all incase it damages their vocal performance but the twins were always up for it and just got on with whatever was thrown at them. I agree that the choreography for the last one was the weakest . We remarked on here at the time it was like we weren't given any close ups of the boys faces and it was all filmed from the back of the studio, making it harder for the viewer to bond with them . I think they wanted the boys out that week and the producers were up to all manner of tricks to get them out.

Its awful that they won't play them on the radio...before christmas, several times Radio 1 advertised them as featuring on various radio shows ..then after listening to the show they were actually only on a two second clip...

Reggie Yates did this, his show was advertised as featuring Jedward... when he finally played the short clip of them saying their favourite christmas song towards the end of the show he appologised to his listeners and complained that he had to play it because he was inundated with texts and tweets by people asking where they were ....

Well surely that should show that many people tuned in especially to hear them...

I must admit I very rarely listen to the radio these days..I get fed up with it as it seems to be the same four of five songs playing on a loop...

I loved the radio show the twins did though...they played such a good selection of varied songs,..I really enjoyed it

Yes, this is definitely worth remembering. Twitter can give quite a skewed picture of their fanbase at times. They really are extraordinarily popular with kids in Ireland - both boys and girls.

It's a particularly nice side of their popularity, because it means they can get involved in very meaningful stuff like childrens' charities and visiting kids in hospital. A friend of mine works in a hospital in Dublin and was telling me how completely thrilled the kids there were when the twins came in to visit over Christmas and how much it brightened things up for them.

I've seen a few videos of the twins with sick/disabled kids and I have to say they blow me away with their maturity and ease with them. Its lovely that their fame has meant they can now make children so happy just by giving them a small amount of their time.

I can't watch the video (Youtube isn't working for me atm) but I remember her and her brother anyway. I wasn't a big fan of them on You're A Star, or their Eurovision song though

That business with Reggie Yates was disgraceful . To advertise the show as featuring Jedward in order to get extra listeners and then only play a short clip and apologise for playing it was downright rude and disrespectful.

I don't listen to a huge amount of radio. I tend to listen to it when I'm in the car. If I'm at home I don't bother unless there's something in particular I want to tune in for.

I listened in to the radio show the twins did too but unfortunately I missed most of the first half because I only found out it was on when i saw your post on here then I had to go off and deal with something in the kitchen and missed the end as well. I caught Lipstick though!

Isn't Ronan still a judge on XF Australia? When do auditions begin there - the show is broadcast from late August normally. Surely auditions in front of the judges would be taking place by the end of May - let alone any other commitments he would have if he were to do well in ESC? Apparently it was a rumour taken from a forum, but some are saying he just writes these days..so it is more likely he has written a song for someone else...Hopefully that is the case ..

I'd be surprised if Keating does it. He wouldn't be the favourite against the twins and i'd have thought he's too big a name to risk entering if his chances of winning weren't high.

Also, as others have pointed out he has a lot of committments.

Edit: Yes, writing sounds a more likely possibility - didn't he write something of ESC before?

Edit no. 2: Yep, just checked WP, he co-wrote the Danish entry in 2009.
