![]() hahahaha just kidding, the korean for Jedward I was using was 제드워드 and yeah lots of modeling pics (above all, from the twilight photoshoot). I think they have that kind of androgyne beauty that works so well in Asia. They're crazy, they're fun, I think Asia would love them. |

Okay this is more or less the twitter-chat some Spanish fans just had with a radio station:
- request us the song you want - We want Lipstick by Jedward - We're sorry we don't have that song. Any other request? - Do you have any other song by Jedward? - No, we don't - *sending a link for downloading lipstick* - Thanks but we can't download it that way because it'd be piracy - Well, download it from iTunes then *sends iTunes link* no answer There's another radio station that has already played like 20 seconds of "wow oh wow" and "bad behaviour" but even requesting them a lot, they never play the full songs... Isn't it frustrating? Anyway we're not gonna give up and we'll keep on spamming whoever we need until we listen one of their songs on the radio

Reggie Yates did this, his show was advertised as featuring Jedward... when he finally played the short clip of them saying their favourite christmas song towards the end of the show he appologised to his listeners and complained that he had to play it because he was inundated with texts and tweets by people asking where they were .... ![]() Well surely that should show that many people tuned in especially to hear them... I must admit I very rarely listen to the radio these days..I get fed up with it as it seems to be the same four of five songs playing on a loop... I loved the radio show the twins did though...they played such a good selection of varied songs,..I really enjoyed it

Its good to remember how they appeal to different groups in different ways, which they need if they are to expand their popularity more generally . They can't just be heartthrobs, however important that aspect is to their hardcore fans. |

It's a particularly nice side of their popularity, because it means they can get involved in very meaningful stuff like childrens' charities and visiting kids in hospital. A friend of mine works in a hospital in Dublin and was telling me how completely thrilled the kids there were when the twins came in to visit over Christmas and how much it brightened things up for them.

Another opponent revealed for the twins in Eurosong 2012 : Donna McCaul, who represented Ireland in Eurovision with her brother Joe in 2005.

I don't listen to a huge amount of radio. I tend to listen to it when I'm in the car. If I'm at home I don't bother unless there's something in particular I want to tune in for. I listened in to the radio show the twins did too but unfortunately I missed most of the first half because I only found out it was on when i saw your post on here then I had to go off and deal with something in the kitchen and missed the end as well. I caught Lipstick though!

I have to admit I don't remember Donna or that song. She certainly can sing but I think she'd need an exceptionally good song to be able to challenge Jedward. I heard a rumour that McFly are going to be representing UK in Eurovision this year but that rumour went around last year too, so maybe there's nothing in it. |

Another Rumour is that Ronan Keating could be another of the 5 acts in Eurosong
Maybe the twins already know their rivals for Eurosong and are asking people to vote for them because they know it'll be tough |

God it will be tough against Ronan Keating, I kind of hope this isn't true......how big a fan base would he have these days? I'm not really up on that kind of thing, I haven't seen him around for quite a while..

Ronan is touring in Australia until 16th Feb. His diary doesn't seem to go beyond that. I've a feeling he might be doing it.It would certainly explain why the twins are unsure they'll qualify.

Isn't Ronan still a judge on XF Australia? When do auditions begin there - the show is broadcast from late August normally. Surely auditions in front of the judges would be taking place by the end of May - let alone any other commitments he would have if he were to do well in ESC? I'm not believing this one until I hear more.

Apparently it was a rumour taken from a forum, but some are saying he just writes these days..so it is more likely he has written a song for someone else...Hopefully that is the case ..

I'd be surprised if Keating does it. He wouldn't be the favourite against the twins and i'd have thought he's too big a name to risk entering if his chances of winning weren't high.
Also, as others have pointed out he has a lot of committments. Edit: Yes, writing sounds a more likely possibility - didn't he write something of ESC before? Edit no. 2: Yep, just checked WP, he co-wrote the Danish entry in 2009. |
