Hot Chocolate should be on the late night repeat.
I've never heard that muppet song, and it was a surprise as I always think of Kermit as a happy little frog, not the sad and reflective wretch we saw here.

Geez, that was a weird run!

I think that was actually meant to be Kermit's nephew but not 100% sure.

Sorry I didn't write the run down for you. For anyone who cares, it's 27-16-6-9-3-21-16-31-39.

Can't have been genuine surely, like the Genesis one. Something must have been up with the compiling.

Ta! Yep the 70's had the odd very strange chart run!

I know who I think the real Muppets were, and they were the ones watching at home who bought that record. My rose tinted glasses are slowly clearing by the week.

I was 11 years old in 1977 and loved that Muppets song. I was going to ask you all what Kermits Nephew was called, but it's been answered

I could throttle Noel Edmonds and DLT... Jimmy Savile was always the eccentric, Diddy David and Tony always the pros....

I can't bear Edmonds on DOND, and DLT was just a prat when he was interviewed for the news after being received by Ang Sun...

When do we get Simon Bates TOTP?

Steady on!

I must compliment Noel on his immaculate attire of a sharp well tailored suit yet again.

The only thing that annoys me about Noels presentation is that he has to mention his bloody breakfast show at the end of every single TOTP he did!

Oh, you are alone then. I just love Deal Or No Deal. It was Telly Addicts that turned me off with Noel. You can't fault his dress sense and presentation on TOTP much, apart from my one aside. He treats his job with professionalism by the look of him in 1977. Maybe with a view to a bigger TV career ahead, which happened.
