I ran this last year and it was pretty succesful, and now it's back for another run!
Last year Carla Connor topped the votes, with Eileen Grimshaw coming a close 2nd. Will Carla run away with it again? Or will one of the new, returned or old characters take the crown?

The format of the competition will be the same as last years. However due to the influx of new and returning characters, yet also a large number of the cast leaving the shortlist is slightly bigger. I have come up with a shortlist of 66 characters, this means for the first rounds they will be put into 6 groups of 11, with the top 5 from each round advancing to the final 30. The final 30 will then be put into 5 groups of 6, with the top 3 from each group advancing to the top 15. You will then be asked to rank the top 15, the 5 couples with the lowest amount of votes will be eliminated making our final top 10, which you will be asked to rank before we find out our winner!
To get a shortlist of a number divisible by 6 I had to make some cuts and additions, which means the babies (such as Hope, Joseph and Jack) and the characters we haven't seen much of (Sam Foster and Danny Stratton) have been cut, however characters like Paul and Lesley Kershaw have been included, aswell as Sian Powers, despite recently leaving I kept her in as she was in it for the whole year
