Too many of our lot have been practically non-existent tonight.

3-2 Newcastle. poor poor goal to give away. you could have driven a truck through the defence there.

No defenders anywhere to be seen. We've not used the extra man to our advantage at all.

All over. Entertaining enough but it showed why some of this lot won't be getting near a first team starting place.

well we've learnt that the second string is even worse at defending!
I thought we were poor against the 10 men. lacked creativity. hopefully a blessing in disguise that we've gone out. |

These matches always feel quite fun and more relaxed. A surprisingly decent crowd as well.
Feels a bit of a wasted opportunity, we could have got the win tonight. Great to see AJ back though!

i'm disappointed... i would have liked a good cup run, although i s'pose that was unlikely with man city away up next anyway...
thank god we have kelly and ward to step in as centre backs if needed, there is no way that paddy or hangeland should be anywhere near the first team now... |

half-time: 0-0.
a really slow start from us again, took 20 minutes to get going but I still feel we haven't really got out of 2nd gear. |

full-time: 2-0. Campbell and Jedi with our goals.
much better 2nd half. once we got the first goal we were in total control. a deserved 3 points. |

Good win that. Leicester must of been full of confidence but we looked the real deal for large parts of the game.
Top half of the table now. I'm enjoying it while it lasts. |

Similar to Everton last week, once you ignore the first 20 minutes we played a decent game - second half especially. They had no answer once we got the two quick-fire goals and with better composure and better choices we could have had more. Not that I'm complaining, though, I'm delighted with the win. Bolasie once again the star man IMO. Good to see some consistency from him.
8 points from the first 6 games - I would have taken that at the start of the season. |

Two wins and two draws from Warnock's opening 4 League games.
The midfield in particular looked very strong today. I didn't think having Jedinak, Ledley and McArthur all in there together would work but it definitely is so far. Very solid. |

Fantastic second half. We played with so much confidence after the goals had gone in, was really good to watch. Quote:

1st half was a bit of a non-event, but in the 2nd half we were in total control throughout... it was really good to see us look that comfortable...
...agree about the midfield... i see someone at BBS has nicknamed them McJedley...
