Even though they have a make-shift front line I'm still not hopeful at all about today. Just hope we show up and make it tough for them.

Same old story, though, we play some decent stuff going forward at times but no end product.
Nasri and Silva causing us problems. |

0-0 half time.
if only we had someone who could actually shoot! got a bit hairy for a bit but being level at the break is deserved. |

Santa really needs to bring us a striker, things could be so different for us.
A good 45 from us overall but they are bound to step it up a couple of gears in the second half. |

1 down. we learnt nothing from the first half with Zabaleta's run.

Well, we knew they would up their game but our limp start to the half has not helped matters.

What a joke of a decision! Brilliant goal from McArthur, clearly onside, and the linesman flags him off!

It gets more dreadful every time you see it. McArthur is 3 yards onside.

this is going to be 1 win in 11; 3 wins in 17.
if the takeover is going ahead surely the first thing to do is to remove Warnock? |

Thumping finish, but all from Puncheon's sloppy pass.
We've made it far too easy for City this half. |

Warnock's going to harp on about the disallowed goal isn't he? We have bigger problems than that and we all know it.

In fairness never expected a point.
Played well first half, started the second looking unsure which indirectly gave city the chance to score a poor goal. Mcarthur disallowed goal is laughable how the lino didn't see it is staggering. Fernandinho not getting a card for that elbow on Mile is just wtf. I don't think if the goal stood and Fernandinho had been (sake of arguments) sent off, the end result would have been different. Just disappointing to see us go one goal down and look like we've given up. Hopefully come January get a finisher! |

Funny how people see things different, it wasn't a sloppy pass, more a case of the receiving player making the schoolboy error of waiting for the ball to come to him allowing city player to nip in front of him
![]() Next three games are massive for us. Southampton at home followed by QPR and Villa away. |

Warnock:
"We worked so hard at the Etihad. Two goals down and you score a good goal like that, it knocks you. I don't know why top class officials get it wrong. It wasn't even close. It was a disgraceful decision. "The linesman will be disappointed when he sees it. It's not hard to look across and see it. We might have lost 5-1 - I can't tell you that, but at 2-1 the crowd might have been nervous. We worked so hard all week - it's nothing to do with us that the goal was chalked off." |

After this afternoon's other results we're only out of the bottom three on goal difference.
We desperately need a win from somewhere. |
