if the takeover is going ahead surely the first thing to do is to remove Warnock?
...not for the first time this season we played a good 1st half but were poor in the 2nd half... makes you wonder what warnock says to them at the break! right now i can't see where our next win will come from... |

My first time at Man City this weekend. Outside is unlike anything I've seen at football - live bands and everything! It's like a little village. Just a shame that inside is so, so dull.
Didn't expect anything from the match, but thought we did well in the first half. They kept banging on about having no strikers, but when you've got players like Silver and Toure it's a pretty ridiculous point to make. |

Happy Christmas everyone. Two wins would be a fantastic present, along with a gift certificate for a top striker in the January sales.

Merry Christmas all.
Here's hoping, too, for a festive period full of points & goals in our favour leading in to a productive and positive transfer window. Have a good one, folks. |

1-3 full time.
zero passion; zero heart; zero belief; zero desire. 1 win in 12. Warnock out of his depth. I can see Dover turning us over at this rate. |

crap, crap, crap... this lot don't look like they want to play for warnock... if we don't beat qpr on sunday he has to go...
his position is already untenable imo, although parish himself should be held accountable for a lot of this mess, too... |

That was depressingly bad.
I really can't see any light at the end of this tunnel, not even with the transfer window about to open. |

That was the worst match since the Fulham one which saw Ian Holloway leave. The worst atmosphere in God knows how long too. A huge shame where we are right now.

Another one bites the dust , can't say I'm surprised , the surprising thing is he was hired in the first place. Wonder who's next in charge for a season or two if were lucky ?

Huge relief. Now just as long as parish doesn't take a month to find a replacement.
Wonder if Tony Pulis fancies a bit of temping?

I'm amazed so many Palace fans seem to want Puiis back after the way he abandoned you at the beginning of the season. Yes he will probably keep you up but personally I'd steer well clear after what he did last time.

About time the chairman called it a day, he pretty clearly incapable of making any sort of half decent longer term appointment.

Inevitable after yesterday's debacle. His position was becoming more and more untenable by the week. And as Bandit mentions above it looked like he had lost the dressing room, it was that bad.
Parish, though, must take a lot of responsibility, too. The appointment of Warnock in the first place was unambitious and quite frankly a huge backward step for the club after what Pulis did last season. If Parish and Pulis could see eye to eye I would love the latter back but I reckon there's more chance of Sir Alex coming out of retirement to manage us than that happening! |

I never felt like Pulis wanted to be here anyway. Wouldn't want him back. Quote:

That said I reckon Popovic, Sherwood, Hughton, Hoddle, MIllen, McCoist, Jol and Dowie will be frontrunners. |

I dread to think who will be on Parish's shortlist!

Parish fecked up when he appointed Warnock, and he fecked up again by waiting this long to get rid of him.
problem now is we need someone in who will be up for the fight from the off and who can have an immediate impact. if we pick up 4 points from the next 2 games it wouldn't surprise me to see Millen get it until the end of the season. and at least we should be getting Murray back. i'd be well pissed if we sold him to Reading (or anyone else) now. |
