I didn't go yesterday blaming the lack of trains but by all accounts it was as unbelievably grim as I'd anticipated.
I will be at QPR and Villa. |

A friend of mine is a massive Palace fan, I spoke to him today and he is pleased that Warnock has gone.
He doesn't know who will take over, but says Sherwood is the front runner for him. Says it couldn't go on like it was, Warnock had lost a lot of the players in the dressing room, and he said their was the real possibility of being turned over by Dover in the FA Cup. Hope things get sorted quickly for you guys. |

Well well well, didn't realise Santa did belated Christmas presents ![]() Very glad Warnock has gone, he had no back up tactics, lost the dressing room, fan support and pretty much everyone really. Certainly never a Prem manager and was really only a panic hire, due to the Malky/Tan incident, and just needing someone as a manager. Of course him being cheap helped. Pulis back, can't see it, him and Parish obviously had some problem that was that big he resigned 2 days before start of the season (and lumbered us with Kelly, but that's a different story) so the idea he'd come back I can't see it. Who's next, no idea. Since Warnock was an ex manager, Dougie's out of a job, not sure what Peter Taylor is up to these days, there's Clever trev. All joking aside, we are not going to get a great manager, but, I think if Millen stays as caretaker till end of the season, will give us a proper chance to look, rather than the smash'n'grab that we had with Warnock. Anyway nice trip to SW London, unfortunately won't be there due to flu, but let's hope we get some of our spirit back (and make Harry squirm )

Just about anyone other than Sherwood or Hughton for me out of the top 10 favs. Either of those and we are doomed for sure.

A decent point in the circumstances - really just pleased to keep a clean sheet. Could've/should've had a couple of penalties, but have to accept officials in this league are so poor.
A rather big January coming up now. |

I thought it was a spirited performance. we definitely looked more solid today, but still pretty much toothless up front. if we can find that goalscorer in January we will be fine, if we don't then we will be screwed. absolute minimum is bringing Murray back.

While it was good to keep a clean sheet today and get a point I can't help but feel this was another two points dropped. This game was very winnable but we just don't seem capable of turning these matches in to 3 points. God, we need that goalscorer!

The list of managers in the odds must be one of the most uninspiring for a P.L job, I have ever seen.
The one exception is Popovic. If you don't snap him up for this, someone else will do very soon. |

I see a lot of waves are being made over at BBS and HOL that something is afoot with Pardew. Currently favourite with the bookies, apparently some have suspended betting on him.

Latest rumour doing the rounds - it's a done deal, 3 year contract. Compensation agreed.

gotta love the rumour mill haven't you?
![]() pardew at palace would be a better fit than pardew at newcastle... i'd be well pleased to see him back home... he would certainly be more loved down here than up there. |

The clean sheet was needed. It wasn't a great looking game but it did look like we wanted it more than recent games.
On next manager I'm not looking at any odds or rumours, this is palace - anything can and will happen just gonna wait |

Is BBS down? I've not been able to access it all morning. I need updates on what's happening and I'm having to rely on HOL at the moment.

^ Ignore. It seems to be back now.
Pardew still odds on with bookies, although I see Steve Bruce is getting more and more of a mention now. |

"Mike Ashley is considering Alan Pardew’s future from his holiday home in Barbados after being told the Newcastle manager wants to quit St James’ Park." "Pardew is known to be frustrated after being told at a transfer meeting held around four weeks ago that there will not be any money to spend in January. Instead there is the possibility that Moussa Sissoko will leave in January" |
