today's team:

Speroni, Kelly, Delaney, Dann, Ward, McArthur, Ledley, Puncheon, Bannan, Gayle, Murray

Subs : Hennessey, Mariappa, Hangeland, Guedioura, Thomas, Zaha, Campbell

Bannan gets the start we all hoped he would.

0-0 half time.

not the best of halves. probably showing them a bit too much respect overall. Murray should have scored his chance but I suppose Eriksen should have scored for Spurs too.

Wish we would play with more width, this game is crying out for Wilf to come on if you ask me.

I agree, palace should of had a second pen for sure with that handball

Seriously tho it was one of those games where the officials got a fair bit wrong on both sides I think.
It happens.

makes a change where a decision went our way - how many times this season have we been on the receiving end of poor officials?

thought we earned that in the end. wasn't a great game by any means but that will do us the world of good with Burnley and Leicester coming up.

http://www.theguardian.com/football/...er-league-live 90 mins + 5: Speroni does brilliantly to both save and hold onto a thriker of a shot from Capoue, out on the left, that dips and swerves and bounces just in front of the Palace keeper. Smashing keeping.

Get in! We worked bloody hard and really earned that win.

The place felt so alive again today too.

That was a much needed win!

First half should have been 1.1 but still a draw was fair. However I think Guédioura coming on made such a huge difference and looked fantastic which resulted in us looking like the better side.

Bit uncomfortable this evening as he's Tottenham couldn't get a ticket and I went. Oh well

Huge result for us especially the way other results had gone earlier. And a massive boost for morale and confidence. The place was buzzing again.

We started off very slow but got better and better as the game went on. Pardew got it spot on with the substitutions of Guedioura and Zaha, that changed the match in our favour IMO.

Lovely goal from Puncheon to win it, great to see Zaha back to his skilful best in the build up.

But this wouldn't be Palace unless there was some bad news to follow - McArthur left the ground on crutches, some saying on both BBS and HOL it's a broken foot but McArthur has tweeted that he won't know the extent of the injury until Monday.

1st half was a disappointment after all the build up but the 2nd half was much better and the subs changed the game... although we only really got going once they scored the opener...

...thought guedioura and zaha were great when they came on... and despite puncheon tackling like a girl at times he worked his socks off all game...

...atmosphere was back to it's best, especially in that 2nd half.

gutted to hear about mcarthur, hopefully the xray/scan will show it's not as bad as some are saying...

Steve Parish was on 5Live this morning.

You can listen to it here. Link.

There are snippets from him in the first half hour but the main bit is from around 37 minutes onwards until the end of the show.

Most interesting bit was talk of the potential takeover. Maybe I'm reading too much in to what he said but it sounds like it is happening and maybe the announcement will be after the transfer window closes?

Confirmed now that we have signed Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo on loan until the end of the season.

Link.

More good news - James McArthur's injury is no where near as bad as first feared.

He was on 5 Live last night and said "I left [the ground] on crutches and the physio wanted me to take precautions. It's totally fine. I should be training this week."

I know almost nothing about Sanogo, but he must be an improvement on Kevin Doyle and AJ so welcome.

Arsenal fan here; - Sanogo looks like a really talented lad. Bit of a rough diamond at the moment, but when he was in France (before he got injured) he was prolific. He's shown some really good talent for us, and looks an intelligent player. He looks a real handful to play against as well. Big and strong, and always ready to have a shot.

I reckon this deal will benefit both clubs.

Appreciate the insight Elyan.

This is exactly what we need. Our front line have been shot-shy this season, in fact one of the first things Pardew mentioned when taking over was how we needed to shoot more. Hopefully Sanogo is a good fit.

I'm not saying they are on target.

Seriously though, I wish him and in turn you lot the best of luck. If he does well it's good for us. I'd much rather he went on loan in the PL than back to France or whatever. Let's see what he can do. I hope it's score goals.

In which case he will definitely fit in!

Yeah, I think so. If he turns out half as good as Cole was then his spell here will be great!
