As a gooner it's really nice to see both Chamakh and Sanogo scoring. That must be the third game in a row you have won now coming from behind.
that's also 4 wins on the bounce and 6 unbeaten. |

Much obliged, Michael. It's been a while since we last beat you so it's one to savour.

Great result today guys, well done.
You are a a bit of a roll since Pardew took over. My friend phoned me he is on the way back from the South Coast, he said he is going to get totally bladdered and he is going to get a Pardew tatoo, I think he's bladdered already.

I did have a chuckle this morning when I saw the think-tank in the paper when it said we had 0.02% chance to win the FA Cup, that's probably gone up a bit. "I thought both teams were great. There was some really good football played. We are disappointed with the goals we conceded but the third goal would have graced any pitch in the world. "Yayao Sanogo was good, Marouane Chamakh was better so it gives me a welcome selection headache." |

really enjoyed today... it was nice to watch a game where even though you wanted to win it didn't matter if we lost... and that was how both teams played... threw caution to the wind from the off.
great to see chamakh back and scoring... he adds that touch of class. joel ward was brilliant today... back to his best. dann & delaney were a bit out of sorts though. round 5 it is then... that's nosebleed territory for us! |

Well that result took me by surprise , did not see that coming at all . At the moment we are the highest placed club definitely through to the next round . Three games in a row we have come back from losing positions & won , doubt if it would have happened under Warnock . Next up Everton , be good to keep the winning run going

We can beat Liverpool at home again and possibly on TV! Quite happy with that.

an actual home tie in the cup... i'm shocked!
dr congo equalised in the second half and got a draw... that means they progress to the quarter-finals so bolasie not coming home just yet... |

it's a good draw for us. I think we might be better off playing Liverpool as we will raise our game and the place will be buzzing.
meanwhile, are we about to sign a left-back? Senegal international Pape Souare from Lille. LINK |

LINK Another being linked is Jordon Mutch from QPR. Rumour mill says they want Frazier Campbell as part-exchange. One on the way out - Stuart O'Keefe. All set to join Cardiff after passing a medical. |

looks like we may have agreed a fee of around £4.7m for Jordon Mutch. this won't include Frazier Campbell going to QPR in the opposite direction.

O'Keefe.
Good luck to him.I like Mutch. Don't know why he doesn't get many games at QPR, but signings like that make me think we're putting together a decent squad. Don't know anything about Souare, but at least he's a left back! |

mutch would be a good addition but it might leave a question mark over bannan's inclusion in the 25...
...a few reports suggesting that free agent shola ameobi is on the verge of joining until the end of the season. |

Mutch is a very good signing especially as he's still only 23.
Ameobi is a decent enough back-up but does his arrival mean either Murray or Campbell will be loaned out or even sold? |

Shola Ameobi?
Can't think why we've signed him other than the pardew connection. Not a player I've ever rated myself. Would love to be proved wrong. |
