I'm amazed he was able to keep his mission going for this long! That in itself deserves applause!
Meanwhile, Paddy McCarthy is off to Bolton on loan for the rest of the season. |

Shame to see Paddy fade out like this.
He's been huge for us many times in the past. |

Hopefully Holloway will have a little break before taking another job, he looked exhausted after he left us, let alone now! And hopefully he's done enough to take Millwall down already.
![]() McCarthy can still do a job in the Championship. Good luck to him. |

Financial Times reporting that the takeover that's been rumbling on behind the scenes for quite a few months is now close to being finalised.

keep hearing that steve parish will retain his 15% and stay on as chairman and run the club on it's normal day to day basis...
... so from that i'm hoping the takeover is more about investors rather than taking total control away from parish & co... it's a tricky one this... on the one hand these guys have big money behind them and may be able to help push us on not just on the field but off it with a new stadium... but the other side is we've seen big bucks foreign owners fail at other clubs over here.... |

Steve Parish staying on could be the crucial factor in this. we need someone who knows the club to still be the guy that runs it.
todays team: and Murray is back. Speroni, Ward, Delaney, Dann, Kelly, McArthur, Ledley, Puncheon, Zaha, Bolasie, Murray Subs : Hennessey, Hangeland, Mariappa, Souare, Ameobi, Sanogo, Gayle |

Proper job being done on QPR. Pardew has got it spot on, they just have no answer to our width.
That said QPR are just about as poor as I've seen a team at Selhurst park this year. |

3-0 at half-time. not bad as first halves go I suppose!
![]() I don't want us to take the foot off the pedal though, let's keep this going. |

Been on cruise control the entire second half.
Bloody hell what a goal that was tho!! Reminded me of a knuckle ball in baseball, absolutely zero spin on the ball so it moves around in the air and just dips. |

3-1 full time.
damp squib in the 2nd half but job done in the 1st half. hopefully the knocks taken by Zaha & Punch aren't too serious. amazing strike by Phillips, that's got to be a contender for goal of the season. currently 11 clear of the drop zone now. |

Great result. Big three points.
Everything wrapped up by half-time which was nice, too. Been a long while since that's happened! Both Bolasie and Zaha were excellent in that first half, they ran rings around the QPR full-backs. Good to see some end product from the pair of them, too. Matt Phillip's goal was stunning, what a hit, and the way it flew it to the top corner could not have been more perfect. As for safety... almost there. |

let's forget about the drop zone, let's focus on maybe trying to catch Newcastle, Swansea and West Ham?

Awful atmosphere with the HF performing one of their now annual 'protests' or something.
But...what a result and a really good performance in the first half. Really was great to see Bolasie and Zaha like that again. I reckon we can start to relax a bit now, another Premiership season boys... |

Wilf took massive courage in scoring that first goal. Really hope he's ok.
Him and Bolasie looked like the wingers they are and was awesome to watch. We did kind of give up in second half, but if punch and wilf had finished the game, maybe few more goals. That strike from Phillips. F***ing hell. That was a strike and half. Can't feel bad for letting that it. I did feel the ref wasn't as fair as he should have been. Henry should have received a second yellow for that challenge on punch. Wilf, gayle and most of our team got fouled. No punishment to qpr. We do a similar tackle. We got punished. But screw it 3 points at home is what matters

Most seem to think it was a protest about increased CCTV after the coin throwing incidents. you know, the coins that they threw!
Either way it's dumb. Support & back your bloody team! |
