To me though, you don't protest by refusing to support your team whilst they are actually playing, you do it by other methods. |

Burnley have beaten Man City. That means we're back to being 8 clear of the drop zone. Makes today's win even bigger.

we were head & shoulders above the opposition today... never looked in any kind of trouble....
bolasie, zaha & dann were all really good... so was puncheon and we really dropped down the gears when he and zaha went off... their goal was outstanding, can't knock that... as for the hf... there are times and places to protest but to not show any active support during a game is just weird... even for them! i reckon 1 more win will all but confirm safety... |

Puncheon going off like he did is a worry. Havent seen any news yet.
Hopefully not as serious as it looked? |

Hopefully Chamahk is raring to go by the weekend so if Puncheon is out it will be a straight replacement.
A front four of Chamahk, Zaha, Bolasie & Murray does sound good! |

Croydon Advertiser saying that Chamakh won't be ready for tomorrow's game at Stoke and Puncheon is still a serious doubt. A question mark on Zaha, too. Might be a bit of a reshuffle on the attacking front, then.

Palace on tour day!
Should be a good laugh no matter what, but with Puncheon, Zaha and Chamakh all potentially out I'm not confident of getting anything. Do we ever win on these sorts of days?

good news - Puncheon & Zaha both fit.
today's team: Speroni; Ward, Dann, Delaney (C), Souare; Ledley, McArthur; Zaha, Puncheon, Bolasie; Murray. Subs : Hennessey, Mariappa, Hangeland, Kelly, Sanogo, Ameobi, Gayle. |

Good to see Puncheon and Zaha in the starting XI. Hopefully they are both match fit and we don't suffer from any early substitutions being forced upon us.
I remember this game last season - first half we played some sublime stuff and led 1-0 at the break, then in the second half we completely forgot how to defend and ended up losing. It was so frustrating. Hopefully we can get something today. |

Let's be honest, that was never a penalty. But brilliantly taken by Murray.

Crikey, I didn't see this turnaround coming!
This is why Murray is our main man, his leap and lay-off to Zaha was perfect. Lovely finish from Wilf, too. |

despite the fact we look like scoring every time we go forward we also look like conceding every time they attack.

Couldn't score the third when we were well on top and now we're riding our luck a bit here.

That's the result that has us playing Premier League football again next season.
Good game in the end. A slow start from us but once we got going we played some nice stuff at times. Should have had the game wrapped up early in the second half and that nearly cost us as Stoke piled on the pressure. But the boys did well. I thought Murray in particular was sensational. |
