new mission: let's do our best to catch West Ham and/or Stoke and claim a top 10 finish! how mad would that be?!

We're going to have a big say at the top and bottom in the run-in what with games against Man City, Chelsea, Man United, Liverpool, Hull and Sunderland still to come. |

previous to today Stoke had gone 21 matches where they had taken the lead and not gone on to lose the game. shows what a good win it was for us.

Compare this to the game at Stoke at the beginning of last season. We really are a good Premier League team now.
Brilliant away win.

damn good win yesterday... and a really good game. yeah, we rode our luck at times but everyone put in such a huge effort we deserved something positive from the match...
...fantastic to be able to relax somewhat going in to these final 8 games and having a real go to try and beat last season's points total... |

Stoke fan here .... excellent to know that we will be seeing you lot again next year. Your support yesterday was pretty good and a trip to your place is always a good day out (apart from your toilets)!!!

Let's be honest, most of Selhurst park is dog rough and I'm embarrassed that we still can't provide visiting fans with more.

Absolutely. It's long over due. It's really not good enough for a club that wants to stay in the premier league for a long time.

![]() However only just watched motd and dare I say, the punch/wilf/bolasie threesome looks likely to be a threat most games. Looking forward to rest of the season. |

I remember being outside the old downstairs toilets in the Arthur Waite once and seeing a bloke come out nearly in tears.
He was wearing sandles you see!! I will leave the rest up to your imagination other than to say every step he took made a squelching noise. |

^ Reminds me of years a go when the Holmesdale was still standing I was in Compound 2 one game and mid-way through the first half there was all this shuffling about and when I looked around everyone had moved away from this bloke who had crouched down and whipped his chap out and was peeing right there. When some shouted at him to go to the toilets at the back his reply was "Are ya kiddin? Have you seen how disgusting they are, it's more sanitary to take a piss here!" All these years later and nothing's really changed with those loo's!
Anyway, a great interview here with Steve Parish about the takeover, well worth a read >>> Link. And Jonny Williams & Zeki Fryers have gone on loan to Ipswich for the rest of the season. Kwesi Appiah has gone to Reading for the same period. |

Bloody hell, Joe Ledley has just gone off injured playing for Wales. Looked like a problem with his groin or hip. That's all we need!

What do Palace fans think of Shaun Derry? I've heard that he was loved as a player with you, but as manager of Notts County it hasn't worked out

I remember there was a rumour when Warnock got our job last summer that he wanted Derry as part of his coaching set-up but I'm unsure if an approach was ever made. |

derry did a great job for us with his time at selhurst... got to admit, though, i never expected him to go in to management... a pity it hasn't worked out at notts county but he's definitely not a bloke that gives up on anything so i expect him back somewhere soon...

Derry is certainly held with high regard down our way. I know a lot of Palace fans still follow his career closely and were disappointed that it's not worked out for him at County. Hopefully he gets another crack as a manager soon.

Apparently the idea was he'd be groomed to eventually be the manager (as assistant or something) like Dougie but he wanted silly money so he got told where to go
I dobut Derry wanted "silly money". He probably took a significant pay cut to manage at County |

Derry was a revelation when Warnock brought him back from Leeds.
Thought he was doing really well at Notts when he kept them up last year. A shame it hasn't worked out. |
