I'd agree with Zaha, as our only real attacking threat for most of the season.

1. Zaha, 2. Gardner, 3. Parr imo.

Gardner would be my choice. I think he has been immense this season. Zaha would be my runner-up with either Parr or Jedinak third.

Elsewhere, some very good news with Jon "Joniesta" Williams signing a new 5-year deal. Link.

I would probably go for Zaha, just because of what he can sometimes offer.

Great news about Jon Williams, hopefully he will fully recover, weren't Chelsea after him last year?

Jonathan Parr wins the Player of the Year award. Wifried Zaha claims the Young Player of the Year award.

Darren Ambrose won the Goal of the Season with that cracker against Man United in the Carling Cup.

Link.

Will never tire of seeing that goal.

Bit surprised at Parr winning, but he has probably been the most consistent all season.

i'm a bit shocked at Parr winning the PotY, but good on him.

Squad update:

Lee Hills, Calvin Andrew, Jake Caprice, Charlie Holness and Nathaniel Pinney have all been released.

Stuart O'Keefe has signed a new three-year contract. Kyle De Silva has also penned a new three-year contract.

I'm disappointed to see Lee Hills depart, I always liked him and if it weren't for injuries he would have made that left-back position his own.

Can't believe how quickly it's gone since Hills first broke into the team. Really hope he does well wherever he ends up.

Pretty exciting signing for a defender! Beat a number of other clubs to him.

joel ward is a very good signing.

not happy with the london welsh link... i don't want any rugby team playing on the selhurst pitch regardless of the financial help...

... meanwhile simon jordan has his book coming out this week... be honest, anyone interested in reading it?

Well, we've had the pitch resurfaced (it looked wacky at the beer festival, I wanted camel racing) so if we can get some money for CPFC, we might be ahead after the costs of fresh turf and grounds staffing.

I absolutely want to read it. He messed up, big time, but he started out as a fan. We should at least respect that, and learn the lessons.

My copy of SJ's book arrived today. I have laughed out out loud a few times, it is very good indeed.

I definitely want to read SJ's book but will probably ask my local library to get hold of a copy (they're good with requests like that) rather than buy it.

Meanwhile, we have signed Southampton defender Aaron Martin on a season-long loan deal. Link.

Plus, Steve Parish says we hope to agree a fee for the transfer of Nathaniel Clyne and we will consider large offers for Wilfried Zaha and Jonathan Williams. Link.

Actually quite looking forward to reading his book.

Don't know much (well, anything) about this Martin, but Southampton fans seem to like him.

I just finished the book. There's a bombshell at the end.

It's on Kindle for 7 quid, but I like my 10 quid hardback and the colour plates are nice.

I might not be reading it for a while so you may have to divulge that info!

We've drawn Exeter City away in the League Cup 1st Round.

Decent draw I suppose. At least with that journey I'm not tempted to go - saves me some money.

I've started reading Jordan's book now. The way he throws his money around, it's no wonder it all went wrong.
