this time our start is tough one compared to last season when it was the run-in. the run-in this time doesn't look too bad.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City & Spurs in the first six games, bloody hell!
Sunderland away on a Tuesday night. Seriously?!! Bournemouth away on Boxing Day - Christmas on the coast it is then! The run-in looks a lot kinder than it usually is for us. |

Sounds more and more like Scott Dann is on his way to Everton then. Think he deserves more of a step up if I'm honest.

Although, there was a strong rumour going around a few weeks back that he wanted to move back North so if it's for family reasons etc that's fair enough. What will bloody pee me off, though, is if this £8million rumour is true. Anything less than £10million would be a joke, especially with today's escalated prices for English players. |

And if you look on Twitter most Everton fans seem to think he's over priced!!
They have no idea how good he is, best centre half I've seen there since Southgate, Thorn or maybe Andy Linehgan. |

i'd be fecking gutted if dann goes... the only way his departure could be compensated is if his replacement was just as good or even better...
...as for the price, £10mill has to be the absolute mininum. |

It looks as though Nathaniel Clyne will move from Southampton to Liverpool - will Palace get any part of the fee?

I think £12.5m for Clyne is a bargain!
I wonder when we will delve in to the transfer market? even the rumours are slow so far. |

I still have many doubts about us getting Cabaye but if we did manage to pull it off what a signing that would be!

If we indeed have £10m to spend I think I would prefer to buy two players for £5m each rather than blowing it all on one, especially as his salary would be much more than others in the squad.
I'm pretty sure the transfer kitty is in a healthy position. Pardew & Parish have both intimated they would rather get in 3 or 4 quality signings than half a dozen or more squad players. From reading stuff the past few weeks it looks like the 4 positions we're primarily after are creative midfielder, striker, centre-back, winger (competition for Zaha & Bolasie) Cabaye is the creative midfielder being heavily linked. Ashley Williams the centre-back being linked. Ola John the winger. And Loic Remy, Charlie Austin & Dame N'Doye are the strikers being linked. Obviously there's a few other names floating about that are being linked but those above are the main ones. |

Just a quick warning on some of the pre-season games, I'm going to the Fulham game, and my dad's booked it all up, however, if you go through CPFC site, they were charging £50 a ticket, however if you go direct through Fulham, he got them for £10 a ticket.
Just wanted to let you guys know. |
