Excellent run & cross from Souare. Looking forward to seeing more of him this coming season.

0-0 at half time.
pretty dull so far. we look too narrow in midfield, we look much better with width. |

Souare could turn into a big player for us, he really has a good cross on him.

One thing's for certain, this is one of the worst referee's I seen!
Nice effort from Gayle. |

2-0 it is then.
Disappointing outcome but another good workout against decent opposition. A few things for Pards to think about. |

We really could do with getting both Zaha and Bolasie fit again before the start of the season.
On the plus side, a couple of pre-season loses might work well to lower some people's expectations. All that talk of going for a top 8 finish was slightly worrying me.

we definitely a much better side with wingers. I would have liked to have seen Kaikai given a lot more time over there.
talking of expectations, I think some of them have been insane. what I want to see is to stay away from a relegation battle, get to 40 points as early as possible and maybe have a really good cup run. |

Yeah the expectations are getting quite worrying now, but as long as we finish still in the prem I really don't mind.
Losing the final to sporting really isn't that bad, getting to the final I'm impressed with and hopefully with most of squad having all played together at some point, when picking the first xi, shouldn't be any problems with communication from the players. |

Cheers Barney, a really good read indeed.
Looks like we've slapped a £25m price tag on Bolasie. To be fair if anyone did offer that I'd take it! |

Doesn't guarantee the goals in the way the likes of Austin/Remy would.
Still only 22 though (how?!) and he must still have a lot of potential. There's a quality player in their somewhere. |

Could be a shrewd bit of business. English, still young, still a lot to learn, bags of potential. Plus, he spent a lot of last season stuck on the wing instead of up front where he should be.
Looks like it's £9m including add-ons, with £6m up front. |

I guess the add ons will be based on appearances and goals.
6-0 win at Bromley tonight. hat-trick for Bamford. the other 3 goals from Kaikai, Gayle and Zaha. |

Bloody hell. Was going to go but plans changed last minute. I'm glad that Kaikai is getting on the score sheet.

last night was good fun... very entertaining.
the wickham deal's come out the blue, i know we tried to get him about 18 months a go but didn't know pards was interested in him... price is a bit steep for a squad player, unless we're about to sell one of our forwards? better not be murray to bournemouth... |

full time: 1-1.
Souare with our goal. Delaney went off injured so hopefully we'll be stepping up the pace to get another centre back in. |

Souare looked really good, shame cabaybe took that knock early on, didn't seem the same after. Hennessey looked a bit Bambi on ice on occasions but Fulham played very well and I suspect with their number 3, voser and Kran..jar (sorry can't spell his name) but they'll do well this season.

Yeah Soure's had a good pre-season. Also Mutch, who played well when he came on.
We don't look anywhere as dangerous without Zaha or Bolasie on the wing. Need to keep them fit! |

Anyway, agree with all that has been said about Souare, looks like he's really settled now and will make that left-back position his own this coming season. |

Parish just been on HOL radio and pretty much confirmed that Bolasie's agent is trying to turn his head in to leaving. Parish still confident he will remain at Palace but the way he sounded it looks like we might have a job on oir hands keeping him before the window closes.
