going to seem odd seeing Murray playing against us.

Hector's an odd one, if he had come to us he would have got first team action this season, instead he's back in the Championship.

The club can confirm their 25-man squad that has been submitted to the Premier League.

Each club had a deadline of 3rd September 2015 to submit a squad containing no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the "Home Grown Player" (HGP) criteria.
The remainder of the squad, up to a total of 25 players, must be Home Grown. An HGP means a player who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21).

Under 21 players are eligible over and above the limit of 25 players/squad.

The squad cannot be altered until the opening of the January transfer window.

The full list is:

Patrick Bamford
Yannick Bolasie
Yohan Cabaye
Fraizer Campbell
Marouane Chamakh
Scott Dann
Damien Delaney
Dwight Gayle
Brede Hangeland
Wayne Hennessey
Mile Jedinak
Martin Kelly
Joe Ledley
Chung yong-Lee
Adrian Mariappa
James McArthur
Alex McCarthy
Jordon Mutch
Jason Puncheon
Bakary Sako
Pape Souare
Julian Speroni
Joel Ward
Connor Wickham
Wilfried Zaha

excellent 25. very pleased with that.

Joe Ledley a late withdrawal from the Wales team tonight due to a hamstring injury. hopefully it's not serious.

An excellent interview with Steve Parish in today's Guardian

We're lucky to have such a good owner

Delaney & Wickham both join Ward on the sidelines.

more of a make-shift line-up today which is a bit concerning.

McCarthy; Kelly, Dann (C), Hangeland, Souare; McArthur, Cabaye; Zaha, Puncheon, Sako; Bolasie.

subs: Hennessey, Mariappa, Jedinak, Mutch, Lee, Campbell, Gayle.

0-1 full time.

how cruel was that? didn't deserve that sucker punch. McCarthy should have done better with the initial shot from Nasri and the defenders should have reacted quicker.

but we can take a lot of positives from this. we made them look ordinary at times.

Navas miss will be the miss of the season. what a shocker that was.

Bigger clubs eh, always seem to get the ball bounce their way.
Sh1t happens, refuse to be too upset because they were amazing today, the pride of South London!

As much as I love this sport there are days when I simply hate it. City are clearly the best team in the country right now, we've gone toe-to-toe with them, given them a damn good game, deserved to walk away with a point and then get done like that at the very end. Gutted.

still think we need another striker. interesting that Bamford didn't even make the bench today.

That started at a crazy pace, it was aggressive and it was great fun.

Horrible way to lose in the end, but to take Man City that close was fantastic. There's absolutely no one in this league we should be afraid of playing anymore.

Nuts, isn't it? Says a lot when we're gutted about not getting at least a point against clubs like City!

Although everyone played a part today I will say that McArthur and Cabyae in midfield were exceptional. That is a top, top partnership in the making there.

Yeah not only are they really comfortable with the ball, but they both make so many interceptions. At times they seemed to be everywhere today.

I knew that Cabaye was class but had no idea his work ethic was so high. Looking more and more like a brilliant signing.

It was a shame we didn't go away with a point, but that open goal they should have scored then, so swings.

We have been playing great football, but I do think McCarthy isn't as confident as he'd like to be. When that strike came in straight to him and he initially dropped the ball, it was as if he didn't believe he could do it. So once he gets more confident with saves and being in charge of the goal, I think he'll be a very good keeper.

I thought our entire midfield, subs an all did a fantastic job, and Souare was outstanding. Only weak link for me was Kelly. He kept being done over and I would have preferred to have had Marriappa instead.

When I first saw our opening line up, never did I think that we'd even get 1 point against Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City, but to come away with 3 should have been 4 maybe even 5. Shows our talent and that we can keep up with the big clubs and put them under pressure. We tested all three well and looked just as good at times.

good game and performance yesterday... once again against one of the top sides we came out of it with a lot of credit if not the right result....

odd that we can't seem to draw games though... it's either win or lose...

I can live with that. 19 wins, 19 defeats. 57 points. in the last 5 seasons that would be good enough to finish 7th or 8th.

The lack of draws is a tad weird. Last time we drew was against Newcastle back in February. Since then, 18 games, 10 wins, 8 losses.

Like Tusk it doesn't bother me, 1 win, 1 defeat is better than 2 draws. Keeping clean sheets is something I'd rather have.

some reports doing the rounds that Wolves are interested in taking Frazier Campbell on loan as Nouha Dicko's has a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Kenny Jackett has denied that he's interested.

And Steve Bruce has also denied the rumours that Campbell is going to Hull on loan.

Two rumours of "officially denied" bidding war. Hope neither get it, Jackett strong Millwall and Brucie the elephant.

I wasn't impressed with his work ethic but might do well on loan in the Championship.
