Funny reading the Arsenal thread right now with just about everyone having a pop at Costa.
They were very quiet when Coquelin got away with murder a few games ago against Palace I must say. Looking forward to tomorrow, should be a good game I hope. |

What's the odds on Bolasie to score against Spurs after all the speculation about him moving there?

today's team:
McCarthy; Kelly, Hangeland, Delaney (C), Souare; McArthur, Cabaye; Zaha, Puncheon, Sako; Bolasie. Subs: Hennessey, Mariappa, Ledley, Mutch, Lee, Campbell, Bamford. no Dann!

![]() I'm hoping that Bolasie, Sako and Zaha will be rotating rather than Yala just up front on his own. |

Our sloppiest opening 25 minutes this season, that's for sure.

Yeah, we ended well but the first 35 minutes were pretty poor.
Hopefully we can kick it up a couple of gears in the second half. |

We've been quite poor beginning first half. Hopefully Cabayes strike will lift momentum but interested to see if half time change as Pardew was talking to Campbell.

Good effort by Sako, top save by Lloris.

1-down. no arguments.
McCarthy fills me with zero confidence in goal. he makes far too many errors. |

Their lead is deserved. In general we've been well below par today.
Not sure how much longer I can tolerate these mistakes from McCarthy. Hennessey must be wondering what the hell he has to do to get a game in the league. |

you need a strong goalkeeper, one the defence can rely on. McCarthy is not that keeper.

Not just McCarthy at fault today, apart from Cabaye, Hangerland and Delaney, everyone has been off their game.

1-0 defeat. that was piss poor for the most part. we made Spurs look like Champions League contenders.

One of those games that you need to instantly forget. We never showed up and didn't deserve anything from the game.
It did make me realise what a big miss Murray will be. And like it or not questions have to be asked about McCarthy. Personally I do not believe for a second that he should be above Speroni and Hennessey in the pecking order. |

I don't mind losing but it's the way you lose. last week against City we lost but we were really good and I never felt bad about it. this week it's the opposite.
we need a reaction against Watford. |

Look forward to next week - should be a decent attacking game.

Comfortably our worst game of the season today, we didn't get going at all. And you know it's a bad one when even our corners are as poor as that.
A good win against Charlton would help get over today please. |

We were the poorest we've seen all season. It was a very easy goal for them to get.
Dare I say we didn't deserve a win. A draw would have been good. Ended up in a pub with him who's Spurs. And even he said a draw was fair. That was worse I've seen us play all season and best I've seen them play. Which made us look worse. We do miss Dann something stupid so hopefully the calf injury will be short lived. Otherwise bar Kelly our defence looked good and only Cabaye looked on it in midfield. The tactics were wrong today and hopefully can knock Charlton out the cup Midweek

yesterday was garbage... definitely the worst showing since pards took over... so many of them were well off their usual game...
...hopefully we can get back on track against charlton & watford... got to be honest here, i would have taken 9 points from the first 6 games when that fixture list came out... so not all bad. |

That goal still seems like only yesterday. Should've reached the final that year too.
![]() Charlton tonight! A big win would be perfect to send us into Sunday. |
