nothing was getting past Brede today. awesome defensive performance from him.
it was the Play-Off Final all over again, even down to where Zaha was challenged. time for Mariappa to replace Kelly until Ward is back. |

Good to be back to winning ways & a clean sheet at last , but the game lacked quality , Lots of needless bookings on both sides , but I think we just about deserved it .

Well played.
You defended well and looked more dangerous in attack. |

Cheers Mark.
I did think the all round work ethic of your boys was impressive. Kept going and going and at no point did their heads drop. You'll be a difficult side to beat at Vicarage Road this season. |

Not high quality, but a good win to get at a tough place.
Feel like we really need Bolasie and Sako to get back to top form quickly, but it's great to have other options to bring on now. Zaha made a big difference. "It's just like Wembley again."

...good win yesterday, watford made it very hard but it's good to see us tough it out and get the 3 points... ledley, hangeland & dann were all brilliant & zaha did really well when he came on... |

12:45 is a stupid bloody time for a kick-off. I hate lunch-time games.
But Pulis comes back again today - please let us do better than last time. |

not liking this early kick off time at all!
today's team: Hennessey; Kelly, Hangeland, Dann (c), Souare; McArthur, Cabaye; Zaha, Puncheon, Bolasie; Gayle. Subs: McCarthy, Mariappa, Ledley, Gray, Sako, Bamford, Campbell. |

0-0 half time.
we are well on top. Zaha playing well, some of our shooting has been poor though. got a WBA smash & grab written all over it so far. |

Blinking heck, you lot. Well played again! My team is Southampton (1976 and all that when I was a kid) but said on here last season that apart from the Saints I look out out for Swansea (Welsh) and Palace (as a kid liked the early 80's team: and you've still got a really cool strip) and you're doing great. And Newcastle's loss....

2-0 Palace full time.
Bolasie & Cabaye with the goals. completely dominant, completely deserved. has there been a more negative away side at Selhurst in recent times? they were shockingly bad. edit: thanks Michael.

Very good performance from the boys today, totally dominant from start to finish. Had to be patient and the perseverance paid off. Cabaye was terrific but Zaha gets my MoM. Quote:

I've been ill this week and almost decided to miss this!
Zaha at his best today - he's so much fun to watch when he's like that. And Cabaye controlled everything in the middle. Was worried we'd fail to find the breakthrough with how much they were slowing things down though. |

21 league games since our last draw. won 12, lost 9.
Glenn Murray has scored for Bournemouth today... and missed a penalty. |

I loved this from the Daily Mail
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...able-2015.html Sportsmail's Adam Shergold at Selhurst Park Selhurst Park has always been one of my favourite grounds to visit. One of the few in the Premier League that retains some character and the noise generated by the home fans is incessant. Plus there’s an actual eagle. |

so glad we won today... only 1 team bothered to play any attacking football, only 1 team actually wanted the 3 points and it would have been a massive injustice if they had got anything from it... even when pulis was with us we were never that negative...
...another international break just as we get going with the wins again... does my head in... |

To think that could of been us playing like that today if Pulis had stayed!
We're we honestly that dull when he was manager? |

So glad to see Zaha back to his best. Think as a team we played really strongly, I'd say Bolasie was the weakest player but very proud of him to break his goal drought, hell even Kelly wasn't that bad!
The way Zaha had Brunt was impeccable and just such a good atmosphere. Well proud especially against an ex manager. |
