It's still so hard to see what can be done with the lack of space. Maybe Sainsbury's could be involved like it's been suggested in the past.
I know it's unlikely, but - assuming this deal is done soon - I would love it if we get some public information about stadium plans by the new year. |

that was rubbish. and so predictable. outplay Man Utd, beat Liverpool lose to Sunderland who have the second worse defence in the league. our crossing and final ball were crap all game. we never looked a threat up front. and our awful home form is now a serious concern. |

Ward had the worst game in ages, no control and tried to foul everyone to compensate, Dann just eh, so many mistakes. Punch, has he developed some sort of allergy to the colour green? Every time against a Sunderland player, backed off, trying to pass/cross/shoot/block/anything else I've forgotten to add, just failed at. One of the worst performances from us in a very long time. Credit to Sam, studied like crazy how we play and were one step ahead each time, 5 at the back too. Blantently playing for a 0-0. Let's just not mention the goal. |

We could still be playing now and we'd still never score tonight.
Can we play all of our games away please? |

in all the years i have supported palace i do not recall a more sorry bunch of strikers than what we have now (i'm not including chamakh as to me he isn't an out and out striker)... we really need to rectify this in january... 13 games in and not 1 single league goal from a striker... you only have to look at vardy at leicester to see what a difference having that makes...
puncheon needs to be dropped, his form is woeful, has been for a while, now chamahk is back play him in that role... both ward and souare were a yard off the pace all night, even mcarthur and cabaye looked out of sorts... and for all the skill and tricks and pace both zaha and bolasie have they are still crap at crossing... and don't get me started on how bad our corners and set pieces were... ...we need a reaction to this but we never beat newcastle so i'm not expecting it on saturday... |

I must admit our front line isn't exactly going to strike fear in to any opposition. What I wouldn't give for a decent, 15 goal a year striker right now.

Keep it up next weekend and this Newcastle fan would be ever so grateful
![]() I've been unwell so couldn't go Monday night. Watching on TV didn't make me feel any better. Yet another hugely disappointing home performance. I'm with Joooe, can we proposition the Premier League in to playing all our games away? |

HT: 3-1.
hundred times better than Monday night. sloppy goal to concede but we are such a threat going forward today. cutting them to ribbons at the back. Hopefully we keep this up for the 2nd half. |

Wow, where to start with this one?!
Complete contrast from Monday night. Everyone was on their game from the off. Yes, ok, bad goal to concede and heads could have dropped but we just pulled our socks up and got on with it. We were faster, stronger, and more determined all over the pitch. They were a shambles, especially at the back. Their lack of desire and passion was startling. And it says a lot when the only tiny disappointment for us was that we only scored five!! Wickham was brilliant. He took a lot of flack on Monday but today he played that centre forward role to perfection. Deserved a goal. Bolasie and Zaha ran them ragged - not often we get to see them both score in the same game. The former unlucky not to get a hat-trick. Much better from Puncheon, too. Looked more on his game today. |

No matter what he says in public you know that one was personal for super Al and I think the players realised that too. Every single one put a real shift in.
That said Newcastle were absolutely awful, shocking how far they've fallen in about a year. Any idea why that decline started? 😉 |

100 Premier League wins up for Pardew today, too. Nice way to get it!

Newcastle must be the worst team at Selhurst in years.
On the other hand we were fantastic, especially considering last week. Zaha and Bolasie caused all sorts of problems and Wickham was what we've been missing up top. Was that three assists for him today? Five goals may be too much to ask, but I hope we can continue like this at home from now on.

great stuff today.... yeah they were seriously crap but you still have to beat what's put in front of you and we ripped them apart... could easily have been 7 or 8 today....
...really pleased for pards too, especially as some of the toon still harp on & on about him as if all their problems were his fault... tough to pick a man of the match as everyone did great but i'm gonna edge for mcarthur who was majestic in midfield... |

Just woop
Loved how Pardew put out the same team to say when we play well we're dangerous, and that's exactly what happened. Not even praise for them this afternoon. Just absolutely fantastic result, and history being made. Our biggest win since the Prem began. I think this was one of those nicely rare moments where there was no motm, 100% team of the match. Bit confused as to what Hennessey was doing for their goal and punch in first half had a few dodgy bits. All in all very happy. Did find our 4th goal amusing as Steve wasn't out yet when we scored. Surprisingly I think we've played better in other games and yet not come away with anything so little bit of karma, but yay
