Hopefully Bolasie gets another 30 minutes or so today.
The cup run has been great but we really need to put this woeful league form to bed. |

I'm on the brink of switching off but the masochist in me wants to see if we are going to get absolutely hammered.
This showing has been a disgrace. The Cup means nothing if this is what we have to endure in the League. |

This will be 3 points in the last 30.
We probably still need 6 from the last 33 available. On current form that is looking a huge task. |

worst half of the season by a long way and that is saying something when you consider how crap we've been in some games.

We've been poor and I don't even know how to process this. Just glad not in the pub otherwise be on the tequila by now :-p However 4 goals second half...Please. interesting stat from sky, last time west brom scored three before ht, they went on to draw 3-3. |

People tell me that Pardew is a manager that likes to play attacking football although defensively not so solid. His teams seem to have "good runs" and "bad runs".

the intensity and emergency has gone from our play now. West Brom will see this out comfortably.

another defeat. that's 7 in 10. no wins in 10 league matches.
the goals in the 2nd half does not paint over the complete crap that was the 1st half. |

Let's not kid ourselves here, we are plummeting. Lose to Sunderland on Tuesday and we will be in deep deep trouble.
That first half performance was unacceptable at any level of the game. And it cost us. |

scary thing is I just can't see where a win is going to come from.
the 1st half of the season we accumulated 31 points. so far in the 8 games of the 2nd half of the season we have gained 1 point. |

we were seriously shite in that 1st half... we've thrown in some crappy displays this season along the way but that 1st half topped the lot...
...2nd half was better but that wasn't hard to do... but shouldn't forget that west brom did step off the pedal in that half... 2 stonewall penalties for us though ignored, the dann one was a joke... ok the ref didn't see it but how did the linesman miss it??? these players need to get their heads out the sand and quickly... 3 points from 10 games is totally pathetic and defeat to sunderland will definitely mean we're in a relegation dogfight... midfield has looked rubbish since we lost mcarthur, its now you realise how important he's been for us this season... at least wickham has now found his scoring boots and bolasie has to start up at sunderland... his presence makes a big difference... |
