We will never have a better chance at a final. Wow.

Obviously they will be thinking the same. But a replay of 3 years ago would be nice...

Very happy with Watford.

Be a very difficult but entertaining game!

Yes - we will be keen for revenge but both sets of fans will be confident.

preferable draw to getting Man U or West Ham.

gives us a great chance but Watford will be thinking the same thing. it's a 50/50 game. could be all on who turns up for the ocassion.

Lets hope it's a better overall game than the Play Off Final. Will you be going Mark?

hopefully we don't suffere any more injuries between now and then. Bolasie was an unused sub 3 years a go, seeing him on the big Wembley pitch will be great.

Yes - of course.

I am sure we would both take another scrappy 1-0 win but I'd expect a better game with the quality we both have despite not being in great form.

Also whilst the players will be nervous it won't have the pressure of a Play-off final on it.

Yeah, agree about the pressure. Both sides will see this as a fabulous opportunity so I can see it being a much more open game with both teams going for it. Cue 0-0 and penalties now!

Got to admit, if we don't win it I hope Watford do. Really don't want to see Gold & Sullivan celebrating a cup win, that's for sure!

this game won't be as nerve wracking as the Play Off Final. should be a good attacking game.

hopefully now both clubs will get a bigger allocation than the projected 28,000.

Also it's the London Marathon on the Sunday so does that mean this one will be on the Saturday?

You could be right there. If it is a Saturday the likelihood is a 5.15pm/5.30pm KO?

pleased with the draw... think it will be a good match and a cracking atmosphere...

...hope it's not too long a wait for day/time and ticket details etc...

Looks like it's 32,000 tickets per side for the semi-final.

From Steve Browett over at BBS:

Quote:
“There will be 32000 tickets for Palace fans which is about the same number as we have season ticket holders and paid members combined. I dont think that anyone who has been to at least a few games needs to worry about getting a ticket.

They will be sold in phases by loyalty points. This has yet to be finalised but the idea is that loyalty is rewarded with first dibs. For example anyone who had a season ticket in the championship and for each season since will be able to buy in the first phase. Or they can wait for a subsequent phase and buy with family and friends who have less points.”

the Man United league game has been rearranged for April 20th, just 3/4 days before the semi-final. good news is that Watford have to play the same evening too.

I wonder what of teams we will play in those games?

Hopefully both of us are safe by then!

Could be an interesting one for us, especially if we still need something for safety. But if we are safe you can pretty much guarantee that Pardew will put a second string out.

Looking forward to today. No better way to start winning again than to smash the league leaders.

todays team:

Hennessey; Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Zaha, Cabaye, Jedinak (c), Ledley; Bolasie, Adebayor.

Subs: Speroni, Kelly, Mutch, Sako, Puncheon, Campbell, Gayle.

HT: 0-1.

apart from a 10 minute spell that was a terrible 1st half. Why are we so useless at shooting? Our crossing has been very poor and Souare gets worse & worse every time I see him.
our defending for their goal was laughable.

FT 0-1:

no wins in 13 league games.

9 defeats in the last 11.

6 home defeats in a row.

10 home defeats this season.

Useless at the back. Useless up front.

Norwich win & are only 5 points behind us now.

We're in complete and total freefall.

but, hey, don't worry, because we're in the FA Cup semi-final.

what a joke this lot have become.

Well. Could have been better, could have been worse. In all honesty I was expecting a thrashing today so as happy as you can be only losing one nil to the leaders.

That delany shot would have been wonderful. Definitely looked so much better second half. Ade was poor, know I'm not a fan but how many times was it crossed to him for him to miss it, mis judge it and just not look.

Gayle looked good, Souare. What was with that tackle towards the end of first half. Silly challenge.

Pardew has really been deer in headlights with little plans once his original plan has been worked out. No win in 2016 in the league. Very poor, and can't help but think we'll be joining the relegation battle. Which in fairness we are usually in so back to a vague tense normality

These stats have passed being a disgrace now, they are scandalous.

I could waffle on about today and all the things that were wrong, incomprehensible or just downright crap, but honestly, I can't be bothered.

I genuinely believe we are going to struggle to stay up now.

i've given up any hope of us staying up... every one of them looks like a man condemned... including pardew... and none of them look like they have any kind of clue on how to stop this inexcusable run...
