I think some people have made a bigger meal out of it than necessary tbh. The only problem I have with the system was not being about to choose exact seats/rows.
A big one today against Norwich. It's gonna be tense. |

Yeah it's going to be a difficult game. Bonus points which ex player to score; CamJam or Bamford? I'm leaning towards CamJam.

HT 0-0.
apart from a bright opening what a dreadful half that was. We look so lacklustre, you wouldn't think we were fighting to stay up. |

I cannot begin to describe the sense of relief at that full time whistle. Those final 15 minutes aged me another 10 years!
Up until the goal it was a pretty poor game but once we took the lead it really opened up and turned in to a really good encounter. The goal was quality, the kind of effort that Punch was pulling off regularly last season. He had a decent game overall, too. Jedinak was immense today, like the Jedi of old. Both centre-backs had good games, too. Wasn't impressed with Sako again, he's not really adding much to the team. Zaha was much more of a threat when he replaced him. Good to see Wickham back, too. Hopefully the big man can stay fit now until the end of the season. Hopefully, now that we have this monkey off our back we can relax a bit more and the confidence will come flooding back. Despite the really bad run we can still finish around 11th so I hope we're not going to rest on our laurels and just concentrate on the Cup. |

What a goal and what a moment. Bloody love Puncheon.
Jedinak was huge in the second half too. It's weird to be smiling on a Saturday evening again. |

Just finished listening to Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen on youtube.
First clean sheet in the league since 28th December at Bournemoth Hennessey looked dodgy again . |

Going to get this in before too much wine and celebrating.
Couldn't watch the west ham game last week but today I could see the difference in our midfield. And what a goal! Really pleased for him! Again have to echo that Mile was outstanding. Nice to see us start with a striker, would have preferred to have started with Whickham but maybe not 100% fit or didn't want to risk it. Loved how after chanting for Zaha, he came on and replaced a not great Sako, Zaha was on fire. I'm wanting to see more of Lee anyone know why he isn't even a used sub like mutch? Hennesey got lucky. A fair few times. But WE FINALLY WON!!! Sad though as only two more home games as a season ticket holder but hopefully next two can be wins also.

Yeah, he had a few hairy moments. I wonder if Pardew will add a GK to his shopping list this summer?
Without sounding too nosey, is this a sacrifice because of the impending nuptials? No, nothing to do with that, where I sit there was (gonna give away where I sit now) a £500 increase in price and I'm sorry but £1600 is too much. So still hopeful we can find some different seats in a different part once the seasons over but I'm not overly optimistic. |

big relief yesterday... can't remenber the last time i was so nervous before a game...
...1st half was poor again, you could sense the tension in the players... punch's bit of brilliance released the shackles & we were much better after the goal... hopefully we can use this as a springboard to pick up a few more wins before the seasons out and ease past the 40 point mark... |

Sunderland beaten by Leicester. We're 10 points clear of the drop zone with a vastly superior goal difference. The win yesterday just became that more important.

yeah, think that's us safe now barring a monumental catastrophe... hopefully we can start enjoying ourselves again now and be totally relaxed and confident going in to the semi final...

I didn't think anything could top the Jonathan Parr thread over at BBS but I have a feeling this one is going to.

Unfortunately couldn't make it to Selhurst tonight so will have to make do. Good to see Zaha back in the starting XI. Quote:

We need to get something from tonight what with Arsenal & United up next and our abysmal records against both. hoping we look a bit more relaxed now that we finally got a league win under our belts.

First 15 minutes we looked good.
Next 15 minutes we've looked poor. |

we started 4-5-1 and looked really good but for some reason we've switched to 4-4-2 and we have become clueless.

By his standards, Bolasie is having an absolute stinker.
Our corners have been dreadful. |
