McCarthy sent off!
Let's see how we handle playing against 10-men this time. |

Sometimes we are so bloody awful in the opponents 18 yard box. No wonder we struggle with getting goals.

FT 0-0.
once again we fail against 10 men. So poor in front of goal. our need for a goalscorer is so blindingly obvious. |

Should have won that but as usual our finishing was dreadful. Crosses were poor most of the night especially from corners.
Plus side, we didn't lose, that's 3 unbeaten and 2 clean sheets. Small steps etc... |

Big missed opportunity seeing as we're probably going to lose the next 2.
got to find a goalscorer from somewhere in the summer. |

We had a lot of the ball, but did anyone really feel like we were ever gonna score last night? It's so frustrating to see how poor our crossing and finishing is.
As much as we need a goalscorer I reckon we need some serious competition for Zaha/Bolasie too. |

That said, I don't think we're going to keep hold of Bolasie in the summer anyway. Or Dann for that matter. Which raises the point of centre backs. Delaney & Hangeland will both be 35 come August, we really need to sort that position out, too. And we need decent competition for the full-back spots. That's just for starters.

really fed up now... if it wasn't for the fa cup i'd wish for this season to be over.. you seriously have to ask what the coaches do with them in training cos it surely isn't practicing crossing, taking corners or shooting... how many games is that now where we've been crap at all of those? Quote:

This is why it annoys me that we didn't use Kaikai in the second half of the season and sent him back to Shrewsbury. I think he's more than capable of giving those two a run for their money.

After Gomes' heroics today for Watford I hope we don't go to penalties next week!

The thought of our players taking penalties...

we've lost the last 6 in a row against Arsenal and lost 8 of the last 9.
today's team: Hennessey; Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Puncheon, Jedinak (c), Cabaye, Ledley, Bolasie; Wickham. Subs: Speroni, Mariappa, Kelly, Lee, Sako, Zaha, Adebayor. |

Not expecting anything from today or Wednesday at Old Trafford. Just hope we don't suffer any injuries ahead of Wembley next Sunday.

HT: 1-0 Arsenal.
business as usual against them. Rubbish defending once more for their goal. |
