Just popping in to say well played. Got 'stuck' with Southampton as a 7 year old Welshie in 1976 (It's cool) and will be supporting your lot 40 years later! Assume you'll take a 1 - 0 with a contested goal too? Good luck and enjoy.

Got in about 20 minutes ago. Absolutely elated and still buzzing, what a great day.
Thought we deserved it and were the better team. Watford didn't show up in the first half at all and made it easy for us, only disappointment was that we didn't take advantage of that and have the game wrapped up by the break. Inevitably they were better in the second half but the goal we conceded was poor, not like us to concede from a set piece. But our response was excellent and Wickham's header was fantastic. I thought we finished strong, too, and never really looked like conceding again. Everyone did well today but two really stood out. Zaha was brilliant, a constant threat, a constant menace, that 40/50 yard run he did at 2-1 was superb and deserved a goal. Jedinak is the other - he was a colossus in midfield, that was the Jedi of old, nothing got past him and even his passing was spot on! 26 years of hurt, a chance to finally exorcise that ghost. We'll be underdogs but that will suit us, all the pressure will be on United as they will be expected to deliver. Bring it on! Mark - commiserations, mate. Hopefully these rumours about your manager are untrue as he has done a sterling job since he came in and it would be a shame to see him depart. |

We really do have some big game players.
Zaha was immense I thought. I'm desperate for him to score in the final now, just imagine it. ![]() Never realistically imagined I'd see us in an FA Cup final again. What a day. |

Yep, fantastic game yesterday - the atmosphere at Wembley was electric!!! Fans singing as they made their way out the stadium and towards the trains!
![]() Getting a Cup Final ticket though, if you're not a Season Ticket holder (which I'm not), is gonna be a nightmare.......! BTW - Just notice that the official CPFC football shirts are now only £20 on the CPFC Club Shop website!! Can't see any difference though between this: 15/16 Home Shirt S/S and this: 15/16 Home Shirt Players Fit S/S Can anyone clarify?? ![]() EDIT : Looks like one shirt has a more "fitted" style than the other!

^ Yeah, one is standard fit, the other body fit. Never liked he body-fit tops, probably because I don't have the physique to pull it off!
28,000 tickets for the Final. To think we only got half that in 1990! Prices will be £45, £65, £85 and £115. |

Yeah those body-fit shirts are perfect for people with the body of a professional footballer. As long as that footballer's not named Neil Ruddock or Neil Shipperly.
Potentially £85 for the same £50 seat from yesterday! The FA sure love their money. |

So, another obstacle for us to face. Clattenburg has been appointed as ref for the Cup Final.
We've only ever won 4 matches with him in charge and 3 of those were against Stoke (including this year's 4th Round tie). The other was the 2-0 win over Brighton in the Play-Off semi-final at their place. |

jesus, not clattenburg!? that's depressed me...
unconfirmed but various reports say we'll be the home team so we'll be wearing red & blue while united will be in white... just like in 1990! |

Wonderful strike. Shouldn't have been a free-kick in the first place, though.
Townsend is their talisman, been terrific all game. Since the second half started all Big Sam's fears have come to pass, we no longer look interested. |

Jedi should have taken that, not Cabaye! You knew he wasn't going to score! We now seem to be doing everything possible to make sure they win.
Can't wait for Big Sam's "I told you so" rant later! |

Second half has been awful. the Cup Final should not hide the fact this will be 1 league win in 19. that is shocking!

We've made them look like Leicester in this second half.
