This is what it was like in 1990, mate. In fact 26 years later and I still think about all the what-ifs with Hughes equaliser. Now that it's happened to us again has made everything twice as bad.

I recorded the game yesterday but much like the replay of 1990 I just don't think I'll ever be able to bring myself to watch it.

Maybe Parish wants assurances first that he has a Plan B for matches next season.

....was just scouring the 'Man Utd Supporters' thread on here and this post kinda summarizes if for me:

Quote:
“We started well enough and have had a few chances but it's almost embarrassing the way Palace are allowing us the ball and daring us to create.”

Oh well - maybe we'll get another chance in 26 years time again.

this is what's killing me inside. What if we have to wait that long? what if we never make it that far again and that was our moment for glory? it's still unbearable right now.

Excellent article in the guardian about the match by Jacob Steinberg . Crystal Palace Miss Their Big Chance & Have Only Themselves To Blame , well worth a read .

Sums it all up pretty well in my opinion .

For next season one thing above all I would like to see is better ball retention & stop giving the ball away so much.

^ yeah we definitely need to get a creative midfielder in this summer as well as that goalscorer & bolstering the defence...

...both parish & pardew have said we will be shopping in the close season so let's see how serious everyone is now about getting rid of the dead wood & replacing it with a better standard of player... don't think i could take another window of all talk and no action...

Alan Pardew has been given odds of 33-1 to win Strictly Come Dancing by bookmakers after his dance moves at the FA Cup final.

What's the chances of Wimbledon beating them both back to the top flight?

Joe Ledley's made the Wales 23-man squad for the Euros. Delighted for him after missing out on the Cup Final.

Really pleased for Ledley. Him, Hennessey and Jonny Williams in the squad - Wales games will definitely be worth watching.

hopefully they have brilliant games against Russia and Slovakia but a stinker against England.

Haha, you know the opposite is true and thrash us 5.0 with Hennessey making countless world class saves. Am really happy for Ledley though especially with his fibula? / leg.

should find out soon which players are being released.... rumour so far is that chamakh & hangeland will definitely be on that list...
Sattrega
10-06-2016
Confirmed now that Adebayor, Chamakh, Hangeland, Mariappa and Paddy McCarthy have all been released.
Joooe
11-06-2016
Doesn't not being on the retained list just mean their contracts are up. And they could still be offered another before it's done?

Admittedly only Adebayor and Mariappa are likely to have any real chance of that. Unless Paddy gets his usual year extension for the phsyios room.
-Bandit-
11-06-2016
to be honest we wouldn't miss any of them... i like hangeland but he'll be 35 come august and you need someone younger as back up... bigger problem could come if we end up selling dann in this window...

Damien Delaney and Julian Speroni have both signed new one-year contracts.

Fixture list announced.

First game is home to West Brom. Final game away to Man U on the anniversary of the FA cup - bastards.

The final run doesn't look good.
