Man Utd need a win to win the league, then we show up and **** them up. It's almost perfect.

I see that Keith Millen said we're waiting until Euro 2016 is over until we start our transfer dealings. I hope we've got a good list lined up, if we waste another transfer window it will be unforgiveable.

If this how we start our transfers love to see how it ends. So a goalie and a striker. With the Townsend rumour, will be filling the void with Wilf or Bolasie? |

I don't believe for a second that Batshuayi will sign for us not with far bigger clubs like Juventus circling but at least it is a statement of intent from the hierarchy.
Mandanda and Townsend would be excellent additions and more realistic. If Mandanda came that would surely mean Hennessey being shown the exit door. |

It's a striker, that's good enough. With us being smaller more chance of first team than only buying him for cup and European fixtures.
I assume that means McCarthy is out, Speroni goes as 3rd choice. Fight for 1st choice. |

I see that Gareth Southgate is among the favourites to take on the poisoned chalice as England manager - and that Alan Pardew is near the top of the list as well.

You'd hope the FA have their eyes on better managers than either Southgate or Pardew. I mean I like them both for being Palace, but they're really not good enough for internationals.
I don't know much about the French keeper, but I'm really hoping we can get Andros Townsend. He'd be perfect for us. |

I'd rather it be Southgate than Pardew, we don't need another managerial change right now.
Meanwhile, Everton have reportedly stepped in to try and scupper our deal for Mandanda. That would be a bigger blow to us than losing out on Batshuayi (because, let's be honest here, that one was never going to happen). |

Dwight Gayle has signed for Newcastle for £10m, and Andros Townsend may be coming from Newcastle for £13m.

And Steve Mandanda is official as well. Two signings in one day and it's only July!
http://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/article/2....-3163841.aspx On Gayle - It's a good move for him and us I think. He scored some big goals, but never looked likely to keep it going consistently in the Premiership. |

I have watched mandana play for Marseille for years now and he really is a top class goal keeper.
Palace have made a great signing here. |

happy with both signings. Townsend adds extra competition to Zaha & Bolasie (assuming we keep hold of Bolasie. worth remembering its the African Cup of Nations next January so we're going to be without Yala for a while) Mandanda should be the Number 1, I think Hennessey will move on now.

yeah, a couple of good signings there & so early it's kinda freaky! ... the keeper is definitely a step up to what we have. hopefully we now get in that striker, centre back and left back...

Apparently we've bid £25m for Benteke and £12m for James Tomkins! Did we win the lottery?!
If we don't lose Bolasie/Dann etc, this could be an incredible summer. |

An FA Cup Final, massive American investment, spending megabucks, and now 3 Palace players in the semi-final of Euro 2016. Crazy times!

Just popping in to say all the best for Townsend at your club. I'm gutted he's gone but I understand his reasons.
And thanks for Gayle, I reckon he'll score goals at championship level

tomkins would be a very good addition... got to get some competition for souare now.
just realised that with townsend coming in & assuming we don't sell yala we will have zaha, bolasie, townsend & kaikai as our 4 wingers next season... get in the right striker and things could get very exciting. |
