I was slightly bewildered that he even started. I was so certain he would go with Kelly and Delaney as the CB pairing last night.
Still can't believe we've gone in to the start of this season with just 7 defenders. We may end up playing Wickham as CB at this rate. Might improve his goal scoring record |

Bad news - Dann definitely misses tomorrows match and is probably out for the Everton game next Friday too. Should be back after the International break for the West Ham game.
Good news - Tomkins is fit and should partner Delaney in defence tomorrow. guess we already know where the priority now lies in the January transfer window. |

That bench isn't the best...
Really need another big game from Townsend. And no more ****ing injuries. |

Shocking from Ledley, but on the plus side it might wake us up as we have played like we're half asleep so far.

HT 0-1 down.
trust us to make the worst team in the division look good. Cabaye offers nothing IMO. would rather see Lee on. |

Poor game. But typical to have one stupid mistake like that.

We've barely been in second gear so far, it's been a lazy and lethargic performance. |

just remembered that we gifted the winner to Defoe in the game at Selhurst last season. he must love playing against us.

2 quick goals. we go 2-0 down, Defoe yet again. but we hit back straight away with Ledley.
but we still look poor in this half. Maybe now we might start to play? |

Defoe having a great game.
Ledley! Making up for his assist in their goal. |

Everything is still so slow from us, there is no zip to our play at all.

Oh nice! Possibly could steal this.
What a difference to the team once Cabaye comes off. |

Superb cross from Fryers. Was that his first touch?
Defensively we've looked dodgy this half, though, so this could still go either way. |

Ledley striking back straight away when we went 2-down ends up being the turning point.
And I still don't think we played that well, we looked a bit lethargic today and still managed a great comeback to win. |

I love Benteke! Fantastic result 😀
When I read the bbc stats and saw this I assumed the worst "There has been a goal in the 80th minute or later in five of the six Premier League meetings between these sides, including four in the 90th minute." For once it went our way 😆 |
