Do we even have a defensive coach at the club? clearly not.
City will annihilate us in a fortnight. |

surprise surprise, the defence lets us down again. Do we even have a defensive coach at the club? clearly not.
It was said a dozen or so posts a go, if we have to score at least 2 goals every game to even earn a point then we are screwed. No clean sheet in 16 league matches now. ![]() After the complaints about the poor corners in the last game I couldn't believe that our first corner was poorly hit and led to their goal.

a startling statistic.
Our League record in 2016. In Total. P - 30 W - 5 D - 7 L - 18 At Home. P - 14 W - 3 D - 2 L - 9 Away. P - 16 W - 2 D - 5 L - 9 that would be 22 points from 30 matches if in the same season. The only saving grace is it's not! |

Those stats are shocking. Sounds awful to say but I'm glad at 6pm every other Saturday not stock piling the house with wine.
Only watching MOTD at the moment but after Townsend miss towards the end of the first half it looks like he heard something due to his reaction. His goalpost hit after Burnley's third was so cruel. |

I hope no one here has been affected by the tram crash in Croydon yesterday. It's freaked me out a bit as I use that exact route quite often.
The first victim has been named this morning and he was a young Palace fan. Seeing as this has had a huge impact in the local community and we are very much a community club I would hope there is a minutes silence before the City game. |

absolutely tragic what happened yesterday. The club have issued a statement: Quote:
Everyone at Crystal Palace Football Club was shocked and saddened to hear about the tragic tram accident on Wednesday morning. The chairman, manager, players and staff would like to offer their sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. Whilst information is still being clarified, we understand that at least one of the victims, 19 year-old Dane Chinnery, was a Palace fan. Our prayers are with his family and with all the friends and relatives of those victims that have been affected. The club wishes a full and speedy recovery to the many people who suffered injuries. This was a terrible event in the heart of Croydon and we stand with the community at this difficult time. I would be amazed if there wasn't a minutes silence before the City match. |

I'm sure there'll be something for Dane, earlier on Facebook I saw that the HOL were trying to organise something at the 19th minute.
What happened is shocking still in disbelief. Prayers and thoughts to everyone affected by it. |

Another victim, Phil Seary, was also a big Palace fan.
The club have now left a wreath and message of condolence at the crash site. |

Palace 1-2 City
5 league defeats on the spin. 17 consecutive league games without a clean sheet. 5 wins in the last 33 league matches. Our defending continues to be awful. 2 more goals gifted to the opposition and yet and another conceded from a corner. on a side note the minutes silence and tribute for the tram crash victims was impeccable. |

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the coaching at our club is atrocious and has been for a fair while now. The same mistakes are made over and over again, week after week, and nothing is ever learnt.

Another week, another assist for Zaha and once again we're let down by the defence.
Man City were no where near the level of Liverpool, we should've taken something today. Their faking injury was pretty pathetic too. |

Hard to argue against that. Lose and the word untenable will be banded about.
what i'm getting really fed up with is the continual defeats at home... pulis made selhurst a fortress, pardew has made it a gimme for away sides. |
