Snodgrass has now apologised on his twitter account and admitted it was never a penalty but still goes on about "riding the tackle"... you know, the tackle that never actually came in.

Scott Dann doesn’t exactly foul Snoddy as our boy tries to find space in the box, but clumsy Scouser Dann has dared to inhabit the same parish as the gallus Scottish frontman and so referee Mike Jones was quite right to translate this into the award of a penalty.

yeah, good read... very funny in places.
can't believe we blew it yet again yesterday... really thought when we went 2-1 up we'd go on to win comfortably... just can't fathom how our defence continues to make such basic errors every poxy week... zaha was immense though... he tormented them all game and his goal was top class. am i right in saying that our next 4 league games are all live on tv? ... that's got to be a first time for us? |

FT 0-1. as predicated yet another defeat and another one at home.
Since Boxing Day last year we have now played a full season of 38 league games. P - 38 W - 6 D - 10 L - 22 it is now 8 defeats in the last 10. of the last 19 home matches in the league we have lost 12 of them. it's 1 clean sheet in the last 22 matches. The stats get more and more damning by the week. How is he still in a job? |

I would have been happy with one point today. Time up for Alan Pardew IMO; he looked as if he was waiting for the guillotine to fall.

The real sad thing for me is I'm now past caring. There was a time I looked forward to match days, that hasn't been the case for a long while.
The stats are more than damning, they are an abomination, especially the lamentable home form. But perhaps more worrying are the excuses Parish is now dishing out defending the past year. |

West Ham, Middlesbrough and Sunderland all winning.
down to 17th and just a point off the drop zone. How much longer wil you keep the blinkers on Parish? |

so fed up with this shite now... same end result, same excuses.
...was gonna go to watford and arsenal but won't bother now, got better things to do with my time then continue watching this crap. i'd love to hear harris & blitzer's views on the past 12 months... they probably feel they've been totally hoodwinked by parish... |

Yesterday was all so predictable. Only narrowly losing to the best side in the country doesn't seem bad, but we never really caused a hint of trouble. Chelsea were comfortable.
What has happened to Dann this season? He's been so poor. |

Problem is I'm not even sure a bad defeat at Watford would prompt Parish in to action.

i don't reckon sacking him is in parish's mind... he's gonna give pardew the chance to sort the mess out in the january transfer window. but as we all know that's not the main issue...

only zaha has excelled this season... mcarthur has been decent and benteke has been a good addition... but the rest of them have been well below par.

It was necessary, but it's still sad imo. He seemed like the perfect fit and for a while it worked out amazingly.
I'll always be thankful to him for getting us to the Cup final, I never imagined I'd get to see one. And for his entire first year at the club. |

I really wasn't expecting that, I thought maybe Feb if the poor run continued. Do we reckon we can sell Cabaye in the Jan window?
http://www.skysports.com/football/ne...christmas-no-1 I was not expecting this just heard it on the radio and as no other mentions of it thought I'd pop it in, |
