Despite the fact that the reserves did really well for 85 minutes I'm not happy with today's team selection. By all means rest a few players for Tuesday, that would have been understandable, but we should still have treated this game more seriously as Cardiff did with theirs who will be buzzing after their win.
But, as Tusk says, it's done. We move on and hopefully we can do the business on Tuesday night and get to Wembley. I'm already feeling the nerves! |

I was really excited about the first leg, but I'm not looking forward to this one at all!
We're just so close to Wembley. Really hope we can get off to a good start to get rid of some of the nerves. |

I've supported Palace for far too long to be anything but pessimistic about tonight. The way I see it is expect defeat, that way if we do pull it off and get through to the final the feeling will be even more fantastic, whereas lose and it will just be a case of "oh well, I thought that was going to happen..." There's a logic in there somewhere!
![]() We just better not go in to the match tonight with the gameplan of defending what we have otherwise I can see us getting tonked. They are going to be well up for it. Hopefully they over-indulge going forward so we can pick them off on the counter-attack, something we have been pretty good at this season. I do think we'll need a goal. |

If Palace get to the final virtually the whole country bar a few hundred thousand Scousers and a couple of dozen people in Brighton will be cheering them on.
All the best! |

cheers tatlock.
![]() really hope we don't decide to sit back and try and defend the 1-0 lead... away goals count after extra time so hopefully we can get a couple and really put pressure on them... |

I am so hoping that we attack from the kick off and get an early goal (or two!) so we can relax a bit. Cardiff would then have to score 3 to win.

I am somewhat amused by the fact that the BBC have Crystal Palace abbreviated as CRY.

some of our defensive clearances have been woeful too.
we need to buck up our ideas in the 2nd half otherwise its just a matter of time before they get the 2nd goal. |
