See Huddersfield have sacked Grayson , probably suffer from new manager syndrome again when we play them on 30th January .

i was surprised to hear about the grayson sacking... i hadn't realised that huddersfield had gone so long without a league win!

as for zaha, the deal is a very good one... sad to see him go but as i said earlier in the thread our big gem is jonny williams... we just gotta keep hold of him for a good while longer!

Confirmation of the Zaha deal is on United's website now, although it's still scant on actual details.

Link.

Edit: More info... Link.

Clearly no one knows the details for certain.

BBC say £10m upfront, Sky say £12m. The owners have said if he goes on to be 'the next Ronaldo', it'll rise to over £20m.

Still, won't like seeing him play for them, but good luck to him. Now let him finish his time here on a high!

i think it's a great deal for Zaha. really pleased he stays with us for the rest of the season.

midfielder David Wright has signed for Colchester United on a free transfer. Link

Swansea defender Jazz Richards has joined us on loan until the end of the season. Link

We've signed signed Manchester City forward Alex Nimely on loan until the end of the season.

Link.
Holloway says Nimely will be out for up to four weeks after tearing his hamstring against Bolton.

Sky Sports News and Talksport both reporting that we have agreed a fee with Peterborough for George Boyd and that he is now to discuss personal terms.

I'm still hoping we get another striker in before the deadline.

George Boyd is coming home.

We've been linked with some top attacking names in this window, just hope we manage to complete one or two. Especially with Nimely and Garvan both out injured for a bit.

The slump in form continues , listened to the second half on the radio , by the sound of it we were dire , I think Murray got mentioned once , Zaha had a shocker . Looks like a repeat of last season decent in the first half poor in the second .

Arguably our worst performance of the season last night. No-one seemed interested in being there. What's worse is that Huddersfield were actually quite poor on the night!

No word down our way at the mo, just speculation that he's "heading out of Scottish football".

George Boyd is coming home.
His sat-nav must have been dodgy as he's ended up at Forest!

Even as a short-term loan I find it staggering we've gone in for a player who will be 40 in a few months!!

boyd supposed to have failed an eye test!

probably best we did't get him then if he can't even see which way he's supposed to be attacking!
