another transfer deadline day passes and it's yet another disappointing day. the best we can do is 2 loan signings, one of which is 39 years old & at least a decade past his best. really?
Matt Ritchie moves to Bournemouth for £500k. we were supposed to be interested in him, why didn't we go for him, especially for that price?!
Subs of Phillips and Dobbie (and Williams) changed the game completely. And Murray is such top class finisher.

With 17 goals last season, hopefully Holloway knows how to get the best out of him. Today was certainly a good start.
The first half was just a carry on from the abysmal showing in midweek at Huddersfield. We were a different side in the second half and Joooe is spot on - the subs turned everything on it's head.
Good to see Murray hitting the back of the net again.
Tough, tough match up next at Watford on Friday night. Remember, the game is live on Sky Sports.
Tough one this evening, although apart from that hiccup on the opening day of this season we have a pretty decent record against Watford. Hopefully a bit of vengeance is in order tonight.

If two stones can be hit by a single bird, then so be it I say!
Just imagine the confuesion, if you had got Saha as well!

Good call, Mark. Did you put money on it?
First 25 minutes was yet another shocker from us, too many of these lately. But from that point on I thought we controlled the game and the second half especially we were terrific, just a shame we couldn't find that winner.
good comeback from the lads but why oh why do we keep getting ourselves in to these holes in the first place lately? that first half hour was terrible. should have been 3-down not 2.
Terrible start again, but another great turnaround. Hopefully with Jedinak back in the team and Williams starting more games, we'll play like that second half more often!
thought we took our foot off the pedal once we got it back to 2-2 so i'm a little disappointed we didn't go on and win... but i would have taken a draw before the game...
... great atmosphere, the palace fans once again outdid themselves, we just never stop singing!
good news that leicester & middlesbro' lost today.

And the Seaweed have done us a favour by beating Hull. It's game on for that second automatic promotion spot. Now, if only we could string a decent run together again...
A shame about Holloways ill informed rant, lost a lot of respect from me.
As a Watford fan that was one of the worst performances of the season from us, we should've finished it off in the first 30mins and were lucky to hold on for a draw in the end.
Holloway let himself down though with his rant. He just came across as clueless, xenophobic and hypocritical. He complains about the loan system and Palace have 6 loans in their squad, only 5 in the matchday squad on friday though. Watford had 4 acadamy players in the squad compared to 2 from palace. Also the bias from sky was appalling. The media just don't like little old watford punching above our weight, who've found a sustainable non-risk way to stay competitive without debt or without throwing money around like cardiff and leicester have.
Also the Palace support was excellent, they always are at the vic, except at the end of the game when about 20 or so seats were ripped up and one was thrown into the family end apparently. Other than that they were good.
Good results in the rest of the games for both of us. Good luck for the rest of the season. I'd much rather you go up than Cardiff/leicester etc

Closing the loophole would actually help us. It'd stop other teams forming a similar network, whilst allowing us to freely transfer players around between teams with less paperwork.

hull and 'boro winning last night... certainly makes our game against the 'boro this saturday all the more appetizing!
